[Hero Wars Guide]Changes for Cyber-con 2025

Changes to Cyber-Con 2025

  • The event duration has been shortened from seven days to six, and login quests are now limited to six days as well.
  • Energy expenditure quests have increased from 4,000 to 10,000, with rewards boosted accordingly. Thanks to the greater availability of Energy Bottles, completing the 10,000 tier may now be possible without paying.
  • Unlike previous years, Cyber-Con will no longer run alongside Black Friday, when multiple gachas received discounted rates. This is a major change, as the event was originally designed to encourage emerald spending during Black Friday.
  • Instead, Emerald City will run concurrently. Like the main event, it lasts six days and progresses through quests.
  • A dedicated island will also appear on Mystery Island for six days.
  • Cascade and Massy & Shroom are receiving new skins. These are currently paid exclusives and may become obtainable for Skin Stones later. While this is effectively the main attraction this year, its appeal depends entirely on willingness to pay, so it does little to enhance overall enjoyment.
  • The Cyber Vault has been inexplicably renamed the “Forgotten Vault.”
  • Rewards in the Forgotten Vault feel weaker than in previous years and provide little incentive to participate.
  • New skins and frames are also being introduced.
  • Overall, Cyber-Con 2025 feels underwhelming, and most players may prefer to focus on other events and treat this one casually.
