Hero Battle Guide
- Introduced on Mysterious Island alongside Electra’s release in November 2025.
- It is a War Flag that restores Health, functioning similarly to Oliver’s Patron bonus.
- Like the Preparation Battle Flag, its effectiveness increases with the number of red-rank Patterns equipped.
In-Game Description
“Heals the front Hero on your team once every 4 seconds for 1.6% of their Max Health, plus an additional 0.3% for every inserted red pattern.”

Which Hero Receives the Healing?
- The healing always targets the single Hero positioned farthest forward on your team at that moment.
- For example, if Kayla jumps deep into enemy territory, she will often become the healing target.
- If your formation shifts due to enemy knockbacks or Faceless’s displacement, the target will change accordingly.
How the Performance Bonus Works
- Healing is boosted by +0.3% for each red-rank Pattern inserted into the flag.
- Any Pattern counts as long as it has been upgraded to red rank.
- Because the requirement is “red rank,” removing a Pattern later will cost over 5,000 Emeralds, so choose carefully.
Healing Values
- Heals 1.6% of Max Health every four seconds by default.
- With three red Patterns, the value becomes 2.5%.
- “Max Health” refers to the target Hero’s current maximum Health, including Pattern-based increases.
- Electra can increase her own Max Health through her fourth skill, giving her strong synergy with the War Flag of Vanguard.
- Heroes who receive shared Health from Aidan are treated as having Max Health equal to their own Health plus Aidan’s, increasing the recovery amount.
Synergy with Health Pattern
It increases maximum Health by up to 13%, which similarly affects the effect amount.

Recovery Inhibition Effects
- If the enemy’s Celeste or Jet applies recovery inhibition, the Health restoration from your War Flag of Vanguard will also be disabled.
- This effect is not influenced by recovery inhibition from the enemy Biscuit.
Importance and Priority
- In today’s environment, changing Battle Flags typically shifts win rates by less than 10% in most matchups.
- While certain situations allow a flag to make a decisive difference, Patterns remain far more impactful.
- For Electra users, the War Flag of Vanguard is worth obtaining, but its overall priority remains low.
