Guild Quests and Prestige update

  • Beginning with Cycle 3, the update time will change from 14:00 UTC to 02:00 UTC.
  • Please note that there may be irregularities in the timing between the end of Cycle 2 and the beginning of Cycle 3.
  • This adjustment aligns the timing with other events and simplifies time zone considerations.
  • Currently, the quests in Cycle 3 are the same as those in Cycle 2, but this may change in future updates.
  • The game has outlined event schedules up to Cycle 10. See below for details on Cycle 3 through Cycle 10.

Quest Replenishment

  • Guild quests were not replenished at the beginning of the cycle, but were replenished with a 15 hour delay. The quests will be available after you refresh your browser.
  • They are filled at their own daily time, which is 5:00 AM local time unless you have changed your settings.

Quest Compensation

  • Compensation for the delayed quest replenishment has been distributed automatically. You can receive it by refreshing your browser.
  • Although not explicitly stated in the message, it appears that all guild quest rewards will also be distributed automatically.

We noticed you had no way to complete the guild quests that became available with start of a new Prestige cycle. We’d also like to compensate you for the missing Prestige. Your Prestige x5000 has already been added to your guild’s stats.

Hey everyone! We have some important news regarding Guild Prestige!

  • The next Prestige cycle begins at 2 AM UTC on July 29, while the current one ends at 2 PM UTC, July 28. Ongoing cycles will end at 2 AM UTC each Sunday, so keep that in mind as you manage your Prestige quests this week!
  • As you may have noticed, we have fixed the issue with Prestige quest counters and now Asgard activities are correctly counted toward your Prestige quests!

Update on Solar Skins for Mobile

  • Oya, Cornelius and Amira seem to be the targeted heroes.
  • It is unknown if the web version will be updated as well, since the skin specifications for the web and mobile versions are different these days.
  • The Solar skin for Celeste, featured in the comic, has not yet been implemented in either the web or mobile versions.

Update on the Polar Equilibrium Event Shop

  • Q. Nexters, since the in-progress Polar Equilibrium event is for upgrading Celeste & Polaris and therefore has many promotion tasks related to these characters, we feel that it is a disservice to not list their upgrade items for sale in the shop, as that would be our primary avenue for completing these tasks for players who have not yet promoted these heroes. By withholding these items from the shop, you are stacking the deck in your favor in regards to our ability to satisfy these challenges, which is not appreciated.

    You are giving an impression that your development team is lazy, unmotivated, incompetent, or mismanaged by copying a physical heroes shop into a magical heroes event. This also portrays to the community that promises to “consider” making future shops relevant are empty by not upholding the promise of consideration that you made earlier this month in starboard⁠ in response to the backlash from the Orion Brawls’ shop also having irrelevant items. Finally, this also makes it appear that your management and/or development team is mismanaged in the sense that they are disconnected from the community since the CMs are for some reason unsuccessful at making our feedback that we give them have an impact on the future content from the developers.

    Therefore, please rectify this issue now, before the event ends, rather than making another apparently-empty promise of future consideration, in order to improve your image in our eyes rather than reduce it further.
  • A. Good day! We apologize for the inconvenience caused, the developers are aware of the issue, and the missing Polaris and Celeste items will be added to the event store during the day.

Event Shop Equipment Items Explained

  • Q. Please tell us… we asked you two weeks ago to give us shop items related to the featured heroes. That was on the starboard, it was about Orion. And you answered this, check the screenshot below:
    Tomorrow an event about Celeste and Polaris is starting, and you are giving us items for crit hit heroes like Yasmine? So, either you community managers are doing a terrible job, or the developers. That’s so frustrating.
  • A. Hey! The developers got the feedback, and this time around it is not a decision, but an omission. We are sorry about that, and as CM has already said, we will add the Items for Polaris and Celeste to the Shop in a few hours. Also, we are not planning to exclude the current Items from the event Shop, so no one feels like they missed on some Items that were available only for a few hours

The event store does not have all the items you need

  • Q. looks like some stuff is added, but should there not also be ‘La Morts Card’ and ‘Alchemists Set’ available in the shop, these are Celeste items and one’s I could do with buying to save time
  • A. Hey! The list of Items in Shop is never a complete set of all the Items needed for a Hero, so something is always missing. Sorry to hear there is no Cards and Alchemists Sets there for you this time around, but surely they will be in the Shop of one of the future events!

Dungeon’s Damnation 1

  • Hey everyone! Just wanted to share that starting today, the most dedicated Dungeon delvers will have harder times running dozens Floors at one go, as healing potential of their Titans will decrease the more Floors you complete

    This will ensure safe and fair play, making sure that even the most fanatical Dungeon runners have some well-deserved rest, while some of the more devious explorers will learn their limit!

    Do not worry, this change will affect only those, who runs 50 Floors a day and more, so most players won’t face this “Dungeon fatigue”! 

Dungeon’s Damnation 2

  • Hey everyone! We will make a standalone post regarding this, but for now an update here: we hear you, and you are right – we had good intentions, and we still want to keep the restrictions to reign in the software users, but we definitely made a mistake with the balance of this thing – we will adjust the debuff asap today.

    Also, I would love to apologize for the wording of the original message, I did not mean to insult anyone. The original wording was born out of miscommunication: we had information that the restriction will be applied to all who run past 500 Floors, not Doors, so in that case it really would affect only a handful of very Dungeon-loving players. And in very near future it will be exactly like that – we are planning to shift the restrictions like that:

    Doors/Rooms 1-399: debuff 0%
    Doors/Rooms 400-499: debuff 10%
    Doors/Rooms  500-599: debuff 25%
    Doors/Rooms  600-699: debuff 50 %
    Doors/Rooms  700-799: debuff 75%
    Doors/Rooms  800+: debuff 100%

    We still strongly believe that some kind of restriction system for third-party software users should be in place, but we never meant to restrict the ability of our players to enjoy the mode they like and farm their well-deserved Titanite. I will share an update once we will implement this balance change into the game. 

Airship Merchant Not Included in Guild Quests

  • Q. There is a Merchant at the Airship. When I buy artifact fragments at the merchant, the purchases don’t count for the “Make x purchases from the shop” guild quest. I’ve tested it on 2 separate days. Can you please fix this? Thank you.
  • A. Good point, I am not 100% sure if that’s intended or not, will share your request with the Prestige team!

Request for Improved Frame Selection Screen

  • Q. Hi. Can you please make the frame selection screen in the same way as we have for avatars? Years ago we had 5 different frames and it was sufficient, now its supper NOT user-friendly. Got new one from SF and took a minute to find it…
  • A. Yeah, it can be really tough to browse through them like that when your collection of Frames is impressive – thank you for the feedback!

Will Oya and Cascade coming to the Web version?

  • Q. Comics: So are Oya and Cascade coming to HW Dominion (web) or is this marketing material meant to advertise for some other product (HW mobile)?
  • A. It is not a teaser or a hint, just a comics dedicated to the Hero Wars universe in general. Admittedly, it has more to do with HW Alliance, that’s for sure
