1. No Plans to Restore the Old Piggy Bank System

  • Q. what about piggy bank we want the old version back
  • A. There are no changes planned to PB as of now

2. Request for a “Collect All” Button in Power of the Titans

  • Q. Dear CMs: Suggestion for “Collect All” button in Events Power of the TitansMany players find it tedious to manually collect rewards one by one. We strongly suggest the dev team add a “Collect All” button to streamline the process. It shouldn’t be a difficult task for the team to implement. Please don’t make us wait too long for this quality-of-life update—we’d love to see it in the very next event. Thanks for your hard work.

3. Titan AoC Positioned as a Gameplay-Focused Event

  • Q. for real though… 2x AOC in a month is very tiring,oh no……… many people will burn out….guilds might rattle apart…AoC is the most hated event in the history of HW, including my guild.I am tired of asking people, directing people, hoping people to do better,please make this alternate………….
  • A. I can definitely see where this is coming from, and I will make sure to pass along the feedback about alternating it.In general new titan variations are an effort to make more gameplay focused events, and to make them varied as well. I’d say give the first runs a chance and seeing how they actually feel in practice. We’ll be collecting feedback closely after the initial launches and looking at what can be improved going forward.

4. Titan Cosmic Battle Replaces Titan Brawl This Month

  • Q. CM the titan cosmic battle event is going to replace titan brawls this month, right? We are not having both? Also, can you please inform the Devs that the ninja turtle and Lyria shops are not working.
  • A. That’s correct, Titan brawls are being replaced with Titan CB.Could you specify what shops and what’s wrong exactly? I’ll pass it along

5. Titan AoC Will Feature Three Bans From a Mixed Pool

  • Q. Well, How does the banning phase work?
  • A. There will be some more info when the event starts, but as titans don’t have same roles as heroes it will be a mixed pool with 3 titans banned

6. Interest in a Pet Version of AoC

  • Q. Hero AoC, Titan AoC, … so when can we expect a pet AoC?
  • A. I meeeeean, I’d like that!

7. Display Issues Reported in Ninja Turtles Shops

  • Q. i think others said that the ninja turtle laboratory coin shop and one more (i can’t remember the specifics for the other one bc i didnt play it)when they were in inventory, and clicked on laboratory coin in coins, the ninja turtle shop that popped up was bugged lookingthen they had to refresh to get back to their inventory im pretty sure
  • A. I see, thanks for the context.If anyone else has this issue please report it to the support team or tag me here with some details

8. Ninja Turtles Shop Issues Expected to Be Fixed Soon

  • Q. Turtle shop
  • A. Thank you, I checked on this and the team is aware of this, a fix is coming on Friday hopefully.
  • Q. Well, CM, let me get my comment in early. Thanks for continuing to carry the feedback to the developers, and thanks to them for putting it back.Yes, I know I will be vastly outnumbered by those complaining it took too long and those complaining that they liked the new ones better, but at least I got here first!
  • A. I’m catching up on some of my mentions and I just wanted to jump in to say – thank you.
  • Q. Hi CM, The Platinum Hit is also experiencing the same issue as the Secret laboratories Coins … will that be fixed also? Thanks!
  • A. Yes, I think that will be fixed as well

9. Considering Better Communication for Major Shop Bugs

  • Q. Can we get an update on the broken Shop that breaks the rest of the game as well?Specifically a promise to let us know if and when it’s fixed.I don’t want to keep trying to see if it’s fixed becuase just looking breaks the rest of the game until cache is cleared.I mentioned to Vizil, even “abnormal” people can encounter the bug by clicking on “Shop” link even if they don’t have the currecies and (I presume) never had any of the currencies.Update: Would be nice if the bug was posted someplace more visible that the normal discussion channels. <#1018831901571686470> or #starboard or even in the “News and Gifts.” (Did I miss it there?)Not thinking of myself, thinking of the other people who might not know to clear cache and struggle with the problem since it messes up a whole lot of the game.Heck, Support had their “We’re busy, expect delays” message up.Making the bug more visible could have lessened the number of reports and reduced Support delays for other people.
  • A. I’ll see what we can do about better informing players about bug statusFolks, the shop issue has been fixed, reload the game and it should work as intended. Thanks for your patience!

10. No New Updates on Angus Mechanical Skin

  • Q. Do we have any idea when the Angus mechanical skin (or any other mechanical skins) will be available for skin stones? Thank you
  • A. No news on this yet, but I’m following up on this with the team. As soon as I have some info I’ll share it with you all

11. Requests Continue for Regular Access to Titan Mechanical Skins

  • Q. Is there any info about mechanical skins for titans?It seems like it’s been a long time…CMs need opportunity to get these skins through regular resources😉

12. Players Request Ascension Skills for Astaroth

  • Q. Good morning/afternoon/evening/night, development team. Before I begin our proposal, I would like to acknowledge the team for making this all possible and congratulate the devs and players for your part in Dominion’s 10 year anniversary. As you know, We, the players near and far, have an all-consuming desire for our first tank to return to our hearts. Of the three guardians who paved the way for dominion, only two of them received ascension skills. Galahad’s sword and Aurora’s shield has protected the Dominion every year from untold disaster. However, let us not forget Astaroth’s role in Hero Wars for the past 10 years. It is his flames of hope that embolden the other guardians to fight. Can we witness the revival of Astaroth in all his glory? Why optimize 2 tanks and neglect the core tank, the glue that binds us together? Due to the threat armor penetration heroes pose to tanks, It is crucial that Astaroth receives ascension skills. Implementing new abilities or reworking his current one will restore Astaroth’s tank role in the arena when compared to superior tanks like Julius, Corvus and Aurora. Here is a rough draft of Astaroth’s ascension skills.
    • His first skill is soul bound. Soul Bound results in 30% of pure damage / passive skills dealt to the opposing hero and will regenerate 3 new layers to Astaroth’s shield.
    • His second ability is Soul fire. This skill has various effects based on counter heroes.
      • Soul Fire (Basel): Opponents will lose 2.5% for each basic attack (non pure damage) afflicted on Astaroth per regen layer. 1 – 2.5 2 – 5.0 and 7.5% health loss.
      • Soul Fire (Purge): Opponents that inflict armor penetration or magic penetration will take double health loss for each shield layer destroyed. 1st – 5%, 2nd 10% and 3rd 20% health loss (for ult attacks).
      • And last but certainly not least, Soul fire (retribution). Soul Fire (retribution) ensures: Opponents who deal pure damage will take the damage from pure damage attacks for each shield layer removed. 1st 5%, 2nd 10% and 20 percent.

  • A. Noted, and goes along with the SB request I’ve answered today

14. Facebook Web Games Shutdown Will Not Affect Hero Wars

  • Q. CM So let’s see. I assume the game is ending in about 3 months given that Facebook will be no longer supporting games. Many have already migrated to other platforms. Hero Wars has remained SILENT on the future of this game, yet continues to crank out (largely unwanted) content ie constant stream of new heroes. Why is that? Now there is Adam and a livestream gift that includes 3 pet portals?? The IRONY is staggering.
  • A. Just to answer the FB news – that only concerns Web games, Instant Gaming, which is what we’re using. The team is aware and working on making sure everything works well. We’re not expecting any issues regarding this.

15. Community Manager’s Role in Feedback and Communication

  • Q. Since CM is encouraging us to send Cat Pictures and Memes
  • A. I love this, but I have a suggestion, why are the cats unhappy? Let’s make sure they’re cute happy babies and we’re good 😉
  • Q. you can make the game better to make the cats happy 😉
  • A. I do my best to make the cats happy every single day 😄But on a more serious note, I see your point 😉
  • Q. On an even more serious note, you have been seeing our point since months 😛We can see what it has led to 😆
  • A. That’s what I do, I see points, that’s quite literally a big part of my job – to organise your feedback and share it with our team. Making changes in game is not a part of my job. But notifying you folks about those changes is, and I think we’ve gotten better at that, and trying to improve further.

16. Adam Event Relic Order Change Was Announced on Stream

  • Q. Was there any notification regarding the change of order of relics for the Adam event? I almost didnt catch it
  • A. Good question, there was, Sam talked about in the stream. But I totally get that not everyone saw it and why players got frustrated.The relic order was changed for the same reason we separated the Shop and Workshop buttons earlier, based on player feedback and behavior data, many players level the amulet first or focus only on it, so we made it the default first relic. In the future we will try to notify you about changes like this in advance – maybe here on SB or in social media posts

17. No Compensation Currently Planned

  • Q. what about the compensation?
  • A. No compensation planned for this unfortunately.

18. More Details on Communication Improvements Coming Soon

  • Q. How many people even watched that stream? I sure didnt, nor do I want to or ever will
  • A. That’s fair, a lot of people watched but percentage-wise if you compare to our audience, it’s not enough. That’s why I mentioned that we will try to highlight those changes better, on socials or here on SB
  • Q. I know that you mean well and as former customer service myself, we use vague wording to not promise anything, but “try” to highlight, and not saying “WE WILL” highlight, really is not that promising at all, especially when for months or maybe more people have been asking for a changelog for the game, where all these changes could easily be fit into.
  • A. I know what you mean, but we are committed to better highlighting the changes, my wording is related to highlight our effort and to say – it might not be perfect and highlight every possible change big and small but rather – we will do our best to share valuable information like this with you in advanceI do think that we have done quite a bit in terms of imroving commication, but I also know we have ways to go
  • Q. TBF thats what you always say… next time… meanwhile people been overspending by that evil move nexters made
  • A. We’ll chat about our efforts a bit more in the upcoming days

19. Discord Active User Count Far Exceeds Livestream Viewership

  • Q. And then we will have players complain about their “wasted time” having to deal with these popups every time something is changed – as it can’t be for just the one item in six months that the specific player cares about.If we did have that popup, I would bet on still having complaints here by someone who did not bother to read what the popup said and still clicked the wrong relics.I’ve seen plenty of players complain about issues that have been posted here in News and/or on Starboard. There is no communication channel that will reach everyone.CM, if you have data and can share, how does livestream viewership compare to Discord viewership?Has there been any review of the concern that the relics were mislabelled for a brief period at the start of the event? To me, that is the most significant issue, but it’s tough to identify which players were affected and any fix would likely have to be customized player by player, so likely not practical.
  • A. I personally do not think that pop-up is the best solution here. But I see why players request it.When it comes to data, I don’t want to specify, but I can tell you for certain that discord is miles bigger in terms of active users than our livestream views
  • Q. Yes, people will complain about having to sit through the popup and some % of them will complain about it, but there will be many more IMO that appreciate being told that something like that, THAT HAS NOT CHANGED FOR AGES, has now been significantly altered
  • A. I think if we highlight the change on our socials for example, that will notify a lot of players and will help with the frustration of the change
