Official Community Manager FAQ

Titles are tailored to the content.

1. Support for Players With Multiple Accounts Affected by Server Merges

  • Q. CM , you completely forgot that many players have two active accounts on different servers, and by hiding the merge groups, you are forcing blind mergers that will permanently wipe out people’s paid progress…this isn’t “avoiding confusion,” it’s direct financial and property damage to your customers! 🤬
  • A. I understand the concern, especially for players who had active characters on multiple servers and invested time and money into both.

Now that the merges are complete, I think it’s fair to acknowledge that the process was far from ideal. The changes to the original plans and the uncertainty around server groupings made things difficult for players trying to plan ahead.

One thing I do want to clarify: if you actually ended up with two developed characters on the same server, please contact Support. As Andrew mentioned, the team is willing to review these cases individually and see what can be done.

2. How to Handle Main and Alt Accounts Merged onto the Same Server

  • Q. i had my secondary profile in another server, i moved to a server that was different from my original server, but now they moved my main profile to the same server and now i have to choose between my main and secondary what a 💩 job nexters well done
  • A. I understand why you’re upset. You actually tried to avoid this situation by moving your secondary character to a different server, only to have both characters end up together after the merge anyway.

    I’m sorry about that.

Please contact Support and explain what happened, including both character IDs and the transfer you made before the merge. The team is reviewing cases where players ended up with multiple developed characters on the same server, and they’ll look into what can be done.

3. Requests for Server Transfer Options and Deleted Account Recovery During Account Merges

  • Q. The account-merge screen needs an option to move one of them to another server.
But because it’s probably too late for that to solve all problems. There needs to be a way for deleted-accounts to be retrieved.
  • A. I think that’s a fair suggestion, and I’ll pass this suggestion along.

In the meantime, if someone has actually encountered this situation, please contact Support directly with the details of your characters. The team is willing to review such cases individually and see what options are available.

4. Criticism of Inadequate Communication and Missing Server Merge Details

  • Q. A bit of background: officially announced from the developers !
August 6th that they would be merging servers on August 23rd and provided a list.

On August 23rd, they carried out a partial merger—which was potentially a mistake—and promised more information the following week.

On October 9th, they announced a merger scheduled for October 14–16 with some changes, but without providing any list of the specific servers involved.

Many people relocated prior to August 23rd; there were even instances of entire clans moving to new servers after that date.
On October 14th, everyone who had relocated felt completely misled, simply because there had been no information—and very little notice—regarding which servers were actually being merged 😎
  • A. I understand your point, and I think this is one of the most unfortunate parts of how the merges went.

Players made decisions based on the information we originally shared, including moving characters and even entire Guilds. Then the schedule and server combinations changed, and some of those decisions no longer made sense.

There were technical reasons behind those changes, but that doesn’t make the disruption any less frustrating.

Just to clarify, if anyone actually ended up with two developed characters on the same server as a result, please reach out to Support. The team is reviewing these cases individually to see what can be done.

5. Requests for Compensation for Server Transfers Made Before the Merge

  • Q. Our guild invited new players to Server 33 to join us after the servers merged. They wasted real money on the transfer!
  • A. I understand the frustration.

I’m sorry that your plans were disrupted and it cost some players a transfer ticket.

6. Request for a Bulk Fragment Crafting Button

  • Q. QOL improvement, button to create all fragments with 1 click
  • A. Good suggestion! We’ve been working on reducing repetitive clicks lately, and this fits right into that. I’ll add it to our QoL feedback list and pass it along to the team. Thanks!

7. Personal Player Care Eligibility Criteria and Recognition of Long-Term Contributions

  • Q. GDEV…You limit personal care strictly to financial metrics, completely ignoring the years of human time, energy, and leadership that actually hold many guilds together.
It is incredibly discouraging to see that daily dedication and long-term loyalty mean absolutely nothing to your management.

True contribution is measured in years of shared dedication – not just the size of a wallet.

    p.s.

…it is ridiculous that players who invested over $50,000 over the last 3-5 years are ignored just because they didn’t spend enough in the last few months…lol🤣
  • A. I understand the reaction, but I think there’s a distinction worth making here.
The Personal Player Care program is an additional way for some players to communicate with Support more directly. We’re exploring different ways to improve the support experience, and this is one of them. It doesn’t replace regular Support or mean that other players are less important.
I can’t share the details of how the program works internally or how players are selected for it.
And I absolutely agree that years of dedication, Guild leadership and community involvement matter too. A player’s contribution to the game goes well beyond spending money.

8. Request for a Guild Raid Practice Mode in Combat Training

  • Q. I suggest adding a Guild Raid training mode to Combat Training, where players can freely choose the boss, its level, and buffs.

I’ve been wanting to test a new team lately, but I don’t want to waste those precious attack attempts just for testing purposes.
  • A. Thank you for the suggestion!

We’ve had similar requests for more training options before, so I’ll add this one to the feedback as well. I can’t promise it’ll be implemented, but I understand why players would want it.

9. Changes to Free Energy Rewards and the In-Game Economy

  • Q. Nexters being Nexters
Before: get free energy and pay for more.
Now: pay first and get some free (detail: pay even more at the beggining).
  • A. We’ve discussed the ongoing economy and reward rebalance quite a bit already, and this is another example of those changes.

I understand that changing how free rewards are accessed won’t be popular with everyone.

The feedback about these changes has been very clear, and I’ll continue highlighting it to the team.

10. Reduced Event Energy Rewards in Orm’s Adventure and the Reason for the Changes

  • Q. Keep in mind the chapter rewards are also nerfed. 11 instead of 17 medallions for 150 buffs, so another -6 energy and -30k Valor.
Hello, checking if this was a intentional or overlooked:

In Orm event, there’s no more hero battles, so quests to max heroes and pets have also been removed, which makes sense.

So in Alecto event, free event quests rewarded 308 energy. In Orm event, it’s 260 energy. It lasts 2 days more, but with light charges’ 2 energy rebalanced it’s just 42 vs 40 energy from daily bonuses.

However, as a result, the event has 48 less energy total doable in event quests.

Was the decreased energy budget intentional?
  • A. Thanks for the detailed comparison! Yes, the changes to Daily Charge in Orm’s Adventure were intentional and part of the event rebalance. We also mentioned the adjustment in the Adventure announcement.

I understand why the reduced amount of free Energy is disappointing, especially when comparing it directly with Alecto’s Adventure. I’ll include this feedback as we continue collecting reactions to the new event format and reward balance.

11. Criticism of Reduced Daily Free Energy and Battle Pass Free Rewards

  • Q. CMs, where is the daily free energy charge? 🤨 Also, battle pass free line now gives only 2.000 emeralds instead of 3.000 🤨 🔥 . Would you please, stop nerfing us already???
  • A. I know, and I understand why seeing another reduction in free rewards is frustrating.

The Daily Charge changes were intentional and part of the Adventure rebalance. We’ve talked about the broader economy changes quite a lot lately, and I know not everyone is happy with the direction.

I’m continuing to highlight that feedback, especially how these individual changes add up for players over time.

12. Statistical Analysis of Fusion Skill Upgrade Chances and Request for an Investigation

  • Q. After having very bad results with developing fusion skills before the rank 6 update already, i spent another 9.000 catalyst with rank 6 skills available. Now i got even worse results – just a SINGLE upgrade to rank 6, where it should have been an expected 3 from the odds (3.3%). I.e. so bad that they are statistically significant. Also the combined result of me spending a total of 27.300 catalyst is statistically significant as well. See the data in the screenshot.

Can you please give me a plausible explanation what is going on there, ideally after you talked this through with the devs. I.e. if this is just a buggy or if there is an intended scam by manipulating the odds on fusion development.

Please do not return to me saying this is all RNG and i am just unlucky. Because this is not what is happening here. The results are significant and the statistical analysis considers the sample size, that is not small here. Anything above a p-value of 0.975 can be confidentially considered as “off”, when comparing actual results with what can be expected by the given odds.

So pls figure out what is going on here. I really wanna know if this is just a bug that can be fixed (and compensated) or if i am being scammed. Thanks for your understanding.

to others: please star this if you are as interested as i am about whats going on with fusion and odds in the game. thanks!
  • A. Thanks for putting together such a detailed breakdown. I’ll check this with the team and see if we can clarify what’s happening with the Fusion odds.

Could you please share your Player ID so we can look into your specific case?

13. Confusion Caused by the Name “Clash of Worlds” for Orm’s Adventure

  • Q. What were they thinking when they named something Clash of Worlds that wasn’t actually CoW / Clash of Worlds ❔ ❕ ❔ ❕
  • A. Yeah, I can see why this is confusing 😅

    I’ll pass this along

14. Bug Causing Final Reward Messages to Appear During Battles

  • Q. final reward message middle of the fight is strange!!
  • A. Yeah, that does look a bit odd 😅 I don’t think I’ve seen this before. Could you give me a bit more info on how and when specifically this happened so I can pass it along?

15. Web F2P Players’ Criticism of Reduced Rewards and Changes to Game Balance

  • Q. Feedback from a Web F2P Player: Massive Reward Nerfs!
    Hi everyone,
I have been playing the Web version as a F2P player for two years now. The recent updates are completely ruining the game balance for us. Here is the direct comparison of Then vs. Now:
    • 1. Mysterious Island: We used to get 20,000 Emeralds as rewards on the map. Today, it is a maximum of 5,000.
    • 2. Tournament of Power: Top spots used to reward 50,000 Emeralds and 100 Troves. Today, it’s 0 Emeralds and only 40 Troves.
    • 3. Ascension Seasons: Hero progression used to be fully free-to-play. Today, game-changing skills and stat boosts are locked behind Season Passes (Paywalls), permanently cutting F2P players out of the competitive Arena meta.
A healthy gaming community relies heavily on its F2P player base to keep servers active, competitive, and alive. When you systematically strip away every single avenue for non-spending players to earn premium currency (Emeralds) through hard work and strategy, you kill all motivation to play.
I truly hope the team reads the feedback here on Discord and reconsiders this aggressive shift toward a pure Pay-to-Win model. We need a fair balance where loyalty and time are valued again, not just credit cards. F2P players keep the servers alive. Please reconsider this Pay-to-Win direction!
  • A. Thanks for putting this together. We’ve discussed many of these changes before, and I understand why the reduction of familiar free rewards is especially frustrating for F2P players.

The broader economy rebalance is intentional, and I don’t want to suggest we’re planning to reverse it. But I do understand that when several sources of Emeralds and other valuable rewards change, the overall impact feels much bigger than any single adjustment.

On Ascension Seasons, though, I want to clarify that the skills aren’t permanently locked behind a paywall. There will be a way to obtain them later on.

I continue to highlight the concerns about F2P progression, especially as we’re seeing this feedback regularly from long-term players.
