February’s Hero of the Month: Qing Mao

  • Qing Mao specializes in providing Armor Penetration buffs.
  • While she struggles against opponents like Dante or Aurora, she performs well in many other matchups.

Titles are tailored to the content. Two weeks’ worth.

1. Mysterious Island Rewards Are Too Low

  • Q. is this the map of Mysterious Island for February? If yes, where are the usual 20k emeralds? Why are there only 5k? Do you want even those people who still buy the subscription stop buying it??? Please replace those 5k with 20k emeralds if this is really the next monthly map. Oh, and please give back the good rewards into all towers as well. Thank you.
  • A. This is a clear example of why you shouldn’t always trust information from external sources, as it can often involve speculation or misinterpretation. This is NOT the Mysterious Island map for February.

2. Mysterious Island Rewards Are Still Too Low

  • Q. Thank you for replying about the Mysterious Island map issue⁠⁠, but…. The map is actually there and is just as poor in rewards as that “speculation” forecasted… So then…. What map is it and when we will have the real map for February (with 20k emeralds and other usual, good rewards), please?
  • A. And this is still not the February map. This map is dedicated to the ongoing in-game event – Winds from the East. The February map is yet to come.

3. Is Cosmic Battle Bad for Your Health?

  • Q. in the cosmic battle event can you please increase the buffer for the number of attempts from 5 to 8 – 10?
    so we can make longer breaks from the game, like 8 – 10 hours, not 5 like now.
    otherwise the game is forcing to develop bad habbits like waking up at night, missing from school / workplace,
    not washing hands when get home … jumping to game to save resources ( i mean not losing attempts).
  • A. I have passed your suggestions on to the developers. If any information on this matter becomes available, I will definitely let you know.

4. Please Host Another Titan Brawl!

  • Q. I understand, you have no info yet about when the next titan brawls will be. But can you please press the developers a little bit (or not so little bit), to hurry up and schedule it in the next 1-2 months. And then preferably schedule one for every 1-2 months in the future. Thank you.
  • A. I did it as soon as I saw the message.

5. When Will the Titan Champion Skins Be Released?

  • Q. CMs we want the titan champion skins (especially the super titan ones) to be available in brawl events as YOU PROMISED, please. So far there was only one such event and that was more than half a year ago. It would be about time to do some more (and make skins available in the Brawl shop for COINS, not pay money please…
  • A. I understand the demand and anticipation for these skins from players. As soon as we know about the upcoming Titan Brawls in which they will be featured, we will definitely inform you.

6. Titan Champion Skins Coming in the Next Titan Brawl

  • Q. Hi, it’s been 7 months since we had access to locked titan skins. They are needed to play TOE now with recent changes. It’s a real pain. I spent $ on this game and it’s currently worth 0 since I can’t compete anymore without these skins. When will they be release again?
  • A. This week, the developers informed me that in the next Titan Brawls, the unlock of Titan Champion Skins can be expected.

7. Why Is the AoC Second-Place Reward Armor Penetration?

  • Q. 3rd event in a row with the same rewards, leaving Armor-Pen for 2nd place, while in the past they changed after 2 events (was Phys-attack for 1st place in the first 2 events). Please star so they’d change it, it makes no sense to give the rarest (at this point) pattern to 2nd to begin with, but repeating it again and again is really stupid.
  • A. All suggestions and feedback from the last AoC launch have been passed on to the developers for review. Also, thanks to everyone who immediately reported bugs to customer support – it greatly helped in identifying them for further fixing.

8. Dante Is Not Getting Removed

  • Q. Can u remove AoC game mode already!?
  • A. I don’t like Dante (the look, the idea, the power), but no one will delete him.

9. Is There a Chance for a Collaboration Event Revival?

  • Q. It will never be available again – like the turtles and other future collaboration heroes
  • A. That’s not true. There is always a chance that the collaboration will be renewed and the heroes will become available again (also for a limited time)

10. New Pet Leaks Are Just Rumors

  • Q. I heard about the following new features for 2025: 2 new pets, a higher level for the animals and a completely new Titan team!
    Can you confirm these reports or even just some of them so that we can prepare for them early enough?

  • A. At the moment, there is no information on this matter, and it seems to be just a rumor. According to the official announcement of events for the first half of 2025, which we published earlier, two new heroes are planned, along with new events and a series of technical upgrades.

11. No New Pets in the First Half of This Year

  • Q. So no new pet ? It’s a rumor?
  • A. In the first half of the year, no new pets are expected. But this is the information at the moment. However, I am inclined to believe it, and in the second half of the year, anything is possible.

12. Some Jokes Should Never Be Made

  • Q. Nuclear wars are also possible, but they don’t happen right?
    so new pets/new pet levels or ranks should also not happen

Official Community Manager FAQ: Hero Tournament of Power

1. What Is Maximum Power Adjustment?

  • Q. CMs dont you feel like you should adress this power level change from yesterday? At least explain a bit more about it.
  • A. We have updated the formula for calculating the rating of maximum power level for Pets, Titans, and Heroes. This adjustment makes the calculation more accurate. Additionally, for your convenience, we’ve added this metric to the windows displaying the lists of all your available Titans, Heroes, and Pets. This will help you better evaluate the strength of your teams, while also enabling us to create new events and improve matchmaking in certain game modes.

    Please note that in the coming days, you may notice some changes in the displayed Power values, as adjustments are being made in real time. Also, keep in mind that only the numerical Power values have been updated. The actual strength of your Heroes in battle remains unchanged.

2. Total Power Adjustment Aims to Optimize Matchmaking

  • Q. I’m sorry, but i dont think, this answer “xxx” is satisfactory…. This is more or less the same blabla, we already read in that copy-paste reply from support. So please, give more details, especially:
    1.: Why does it only affect some people, whereas others remained unchanged?
    2.: You also mentioned max titan and pet power, but as you can see, those are unchanged, so i’m a bit confused now and have no idea what you are talking about, please explain.
    3.: Why did you not give a heads-up IN ADVANCE that you want to change formula?
    4.: I dont really get it… You change something (formula), but it doesnt change anything in our heroes actual power?  Please explain it a way, so that even an idiot like me can understand.

  • A. The main goal of these changes is to optimize matchmaking, which has been a long-standing request from the community. I don’t have access to the specific formula used to calculate POWER, but I’ve been assured that it is now being calculated more accurately фтв as I mentioned in the starboard, the script is still a work in progress, so changes in power numbers may still occur in a day or two.

3. Total Power Recalculation Script

  • Q. if the script is still a work in progress, why releasing it to production? did you not hear about common developing practices?
  • A. Sorry, I misspoke. The script is not a work in progress, it continues to recalculate in real time.

4. Hero Tournament of Power Matchmaking

  • Q. CMs

    “To ensure fair competition, players from different servers will be automatically grouped based on their team level and activity in the game. This means your group will include players with similar levels and activity measures to yours, giving everyone a balanced challenge.”

    How is activity in game measured?

    Update: login time will not be used. But we would still like to know the formula for calculating activity.
  • A. The time when the game was simply open is, of course, not taken into account. This factor is not significant for the calculations.

5. Hero Tournament of Power Rewards

  • Q. yo man any idea on rewards? Is it coin based or something like AOC rewards?
  • A. This event does not feature a special shop or currency to spend in it. Each day, you can earn up to 4 different rewards depending on the number of Tournament Points you collect. At the end of the event, the top 3 leaders in each group with the highest points will receive the grand prizes.

6. Is It Pointless to Participate?

  • Q. WHO is so STUPID and wastes resources to level heroes he does not need/want to play …. honestly ?? –  a event designed to deplete our stockpiles
    AND who spend the most money wins ??

    I will see with WHOM i am in a group … but if i see the mismatchmaking of CoW and AoC … i have no doubt, i will get one or more of the stupid big spenders who buy everything – then my participation in this Event will be overseeable …

    I save my resources for the new heroes and pets instead of wasting them for heroes i will most likely NEVER use …

    WHO had the idea to launch such a S..T event ??
  • A. Criticism can be valuable, but let’s avoid insults and focus on constructive points. This is a warning to keep the tone respectful moving forward.

7. Automatically Clear Target Quests If All Skins Are Maxed Out

  • Q. wht about ascension and skins, thy are all maxed out too?
    imagine someone will have to max isaac magic def skin in order to win lmao
  • A. If players have fully maxed out everything, they can complete quests from the quest chain accompanying the event and earn Tournament Points for it

8. Ranking Rules for Tied Scores

  • Q. but what if, if all do the same or 2 or 4 playes have the same highest points?
  • A. Whoever collects the most points first will secure the top positions.
