1. What Happens to Unused League Arena Coins?

  • Q. Can you please tell us what happens with the unused League Arena Coins? Do they convert to anything? If they do convert, what are the conversion rates? Thanks.
  • A. There will be no exchange for League Arena Coins, so this is the last chance to spend them in the shop or wait for the League Arena to return.

2. Hero Tournament Power Quests Are Additions, Not Replacements

  • Q. What is wrong with you guys at Nexters?
    We had in the past two nice events, until you guys messed them up: Weaving Patterns and Guardians of the Outland. So, are we getting back the old format? Can you give us an answer for that?
    And now you are messing up with the next event: Hero Tournament of Power
    Before it was updating 20 levels in Asgard, now it’s 50 level. Same for other task

    To be honest: enough is enough, maybe you are not aware of it, but there is already a boycott going on. And I’m pretty sure, after this message more will join. Congratulations. 
  • A. Hey everyone, with this one I want to share a very quick clarification: this update is not going to be similar to the recent Weaving Patterns or Guardians of the Outland updates

    There will be no rebalancing. It will be much easier: we will preserve the old quest steps with the old rewards – exactly same values, nothing changes – and we will add more steps to the quest chains for those who are interested.

    So, if you used to Unlock 20 Ascension Glyphs (the last step was 20 the last time, not 30) for X number of Wish Crystals – you will still be able to do exactly that and get the same X number of Wish Crystals. 120 Wish Crystals in this specific case for this exact step, and the same number of Wish Crystals on all the quest steps before along the way.

    The only change is that IF you want to go even harder into these quest chains, now you can do that and get something in return. That’s it.

3. No Information Yet on Whether Weaving Patterns and Guardians of Outland Will Be Restored 

  • Q. Thank you for the fast response. What about the other two events (Weaving Patterns and Guardians of Outland)? Can we expect some changes for them, because right now they are useless (in my eyes). Please revert them, and if you want to change them, then please do it like the upcoming changes for the heroes tournament of power.
  • A. Hey! I will remind the team about the initial community response, but right now I don’t have any updates on those.

    With Guardians of Outland it is a very interesting case – we’ve got a lot of heat for the update here on Discord server.

    Yet, in our May survey we had a question on how players feel about the update – and 36.4% of players chose “I like that the quest chains now longer and I can complete more quests to get more resources”. It was the most popular answer option, and only 13% (least popular option) voted for “It was strictly better before” (not exact wording, but the gist of the answer).

    Surely, it is not like all the players in the game are participating in the surveys – but same goes for this Discord server, it’s not like all players are active here, right? So, I was personally quite surprised by the survey answers – go figure…

    Regarding the Weaving Patterns I don’t have this info as we have not asked about it directly in the survey (and I struggle to figure out now why we have not done that )

4. Upcoming Survey to Hint at the Next Hero

  • Q. I haven’t seen any clarification on the ‘new hero’ text in the next month’s events announcement.
    Has anyone gotten any clarity yet?
    New hero is referring to……? New hero in the brawl that has never been in brawl before? E.g. Lara croft brawl finally?
    I dont think it is new hero for real right? Because it is not listed in the table given.
    And also it has been barely 1.5 months since Lyria came out.
  • A. And speaking of surveys, those of you who will participate in the one coming in a few days (it will be short and sweet, by the way) – will get some hints regarding exactly that.

5. Lara Croft Crossover Returning This Summer

  • Q. (Lara is quite close) Any update on this?
  • A. The timeframe I’m aware of at the moment is – this summer.

6. Two Major Concerns About Totem Fusion

  • All right, and now to the big one. I wanted to talk a bit about Totem Fusion. We’ve seen the feedback, and yeah, we know this feature hasn’t landed smoothly for everyone. That’s totally fair.

    Honestly, that’s been the case with almost every major feature we’ve introduced. Titans (yep, there were times before Titans!), Pets, new game modes — most of them were met with skepticism at first. Over time, they found their place. We believe Totem Fusion has the same potential. Once you actually get to experiment with it, we think a lot of you will find it pretty fun and impactful, the Titan fights and the overall Titan meta should feel much deeper with Totem Fusion introduction. At least, that’s the intent.

    But right now, you haven’t had the chance to actually play with it. All you see is the cost, the randomness, and the uncertainty, which makes it a hard sell.

    Still, you have your concerns, and they are absolutely legit. Let’s break down the two biggest concerns you’ve brought up.
  • Totem-to-Emerald Exchange

    This one’s a dealbreaker for many of you. We get it, that option became a big part of how players managed resources. But we won’t be bringing it back.

    The exchange was added back when the only way to get Totems was to throw tons of Emeralds into the Altar. That’s not the case anymore, and keeping the exchange breaks the balance of everything around Totems — including our ability to give them out more freely. With the exchange in place, we simply couldn’t ever offer Totem fragments or access to Totems in events, milestone chains, etc., without causing major issues. Totems will still be rare, but not locked away forever.

    We’re also keeping and expanding the gifting option. It’ll be a bit less restrictive soon, so there’ll still be ways to share Totems, even after you’re done with your own.
  • Randomness in Fusion

    We get why this one stings. Random outcomes are a core part of Hero Wars — Soul Atrium, Artifact Chest, Astral Seer, many event boxes, you name it. But it hits differently when expensive resources are on the line.

    What we’ve already done is we’ve tried to make Fusion more forgiving than, say, Patterns. There’s some influence over the odds, partial refunds when things don’t go your way, and a reliable path to around Level 3, which is already strong. You only really push higher if you want that final edge.

    Still, the concern is valid. We’ve passed the feedback to the team, and we’re looking at options for stronger bad luck protection — maybe something like a guaranteed result after a certain number of attempts or Catalyst spent. No promises yet, but the conversation is happening. We would also love to show you the current implementation first, to gather the feedback after you’ve seen it in action and have more context.
  • Why didn’t we just say that in the FAQ?

    Fair question. We answered about gifting but didn’t directly confirm the removal of the exchange. Not because we thought you wouldn’t notice — we figured the message was clear without spelling it out. But we see now that it felt like we were dodging the topic, and that’s on us.

7. Totem Emerald Exchange Available Until End of July, Including July Season Totems

  • Q. in July there is a new Element Season, can you tell us, before buying the golden ticket, if the end of converting totem in emeralds will happen this month. As a consumers we have the right (at least in EU) to know exactly what we are buying and eventually expiration dates. Thank you for your transparent e fair comunication.
  • A. Hey! That’s a very good and timely question, thanks for bringing it up. The Totem-to-Emerald exchange will be disabled at the very end of July, just a few hours after the Elemental Season ends.

    That means the Elemental Season will be your last chance to get a Totem and still exchange it for Emeralds. But to do that, you’ll need to act fast and don’t let the Totem sit in your Equipment tab for days or weeks.

    The same goes for all other Totem Fragments you might have. You’ll have the whole month of July to “cash them out.” After that, they’ll only be usable for Catalyst conversion. Just to be clear — the gifting option is not affected by these changes.

    We’ll be posting an official notification next week, so that everyone (not just the folks here on Discord) gets the info in time. But to say it one more time: if you don’t let your rewards sit in your mail or inventory, you will be able to exchange the Totem from the upcoming Season for Emeralds.

8. Why Is Telegram Used for Announcements?

  • Q. Is Nexters running out of their own proper resources? Not only do we need to deal with this bit.ly redirector nonsense, now they’re also putting up the Totem Fusion FAQ on telegra.ph?
