The Seer’s Game Release Delayed Again

  • Originally scheduled for August 3 and later postponed to August 13, the event has now been delayed indefinitely.

1. Bug allowing massive Titan Coin gains

  • Q. Are there any infos about if that huge bug early in the morning that allowed players to get 5 million titan shop coins (which means all titan exp potions/gold/spark powder you will ever need on your account) basically for free will be adressed?
  • A. When I get an update on it from the developers, I’ll share the information

Note: For about the first hour after the Summer Festival event began, there was an error in the quantity settings for certain shop items.

2. Summer Festival shop bug: resources have already been removed

  • Q. yes bug happens.
    but the action upon it matters more.
    there must be equal treatment for all.
    e.g. if you have to ban all players using the bug, temporary or permanent, then do it. no one can say anything. this happened to me on other games.

    or if you decide to just remove the bugged resource (Gold,souls,potions), then DO PROPERLY, do it for ALL the players who used the bug. Not like now do half half. Some players still have it.

    or if you want to remove the bugged resource AND revert back all those levels to before the bug. Then do it.

    It is a lot of work, yes. But there are some things that need to be done then have to do, regardless how hard it is. In life there are many moments like that. No matter how hard it is, if have to do then do it. This is one of them.

    or if you just want to let go of it, then BE OPEN, Apologize openly, acknowledge the bug.
    (Currently they are not acknowledging it openly, the CM even conveniently skipped the starboard message about the bug)
  • A. Yes, there was a bug. Measures were taken to remove the excess resources that had been obtained. At the moment, I don’t have any new information.

3. How will Titans that were illegally boosted during the Summer Festival be handled?

  • Q. I know you probably have enough of me going on about this but do you guys have any new info about it?
    Its really not fair to leave it like this …
    If it would help I can provide screenshots (before/after) with state of unfairly upgraded titans on our server
  • A. Hi. Still no new info ATM.

4. Was the omission of the Solar Skins settings a mistake?

  • Q. I thought they told us that solar skins (not the two new ones) would be available to be purchased with skinstone again after summer festival?

    They forgot to enable it.
    This company really…….
  • A. We were right in the middle of the update when you posted that Check again, should be available now!

5. How to obtain Beach Skins

  • Q. Hello CM, is there a chance to get answer about beach skins?
    One year when skins are not available other way than buying is not enough
  • A. I’ve reached out to the team – I’ll update you as soon as I hear back from them.

6. If we respond too optimistically, it might be taken as a promise

  • Q. CMs only answeres about the new event of today! And the rest before this fuxxing event start? you kicked one week of starboard … Is this the new GDEV way?
  • A. What kind of answers are you expecting?
    Technical issues and bugs are handled through the support team. If you encounter a problem, you should open a ticket – this way, the specialists can access logs from your device and gather the necessary data to fix the issue.

    When you highlight a technical issue in the Starboard with stars, I do flag it to the support team, but most of the time, resolving it requires a case-by-case investigation by the technical support team directly.

    Your feedback regarding assortment, pricing, or rewards – all of that is reported and passed on to the developers. If there’s any update or a committed change, I’ll share it with you. But if there isn’t one, the question remains open. And I don’t want to say, ‘The developers have not committed to implementing request X,’ because in the vast majority of cases, your suggestions are genuinely great, and the devs don’t rule out the possibility of implementing them in the future.
    You understand yourself that it’s extremely difficult for me to give definitive answers. If I even slightly suggest something like, ‘Oh! The developers liked idea X and are considering implementing it,’ it will be taken as a commitment. And then, if there are any changes to the schedule and the implementation gets delayed, you’ll be saying at every opportunity, ‘Hey! Where are the promised Air Titans? or something like that’

    I really value your constructive suggestions — especially when you present them in a detailed and well-reasoned way. I can even smile at your sarcastic comments – I don’t take them personally because I understand that you’re deeply engaged with Hero Wars and want to make it better. We all do.

7. Automatic conversion of Lucky Coins

  • Q. You stated previously here that we would be able to keep our lucky coins in our inventory for the next Elemental Synergy (Lucky Road) event, and a conversion system will only be implemented afterwards. As you can see from the attached screenshots, this is obviously not the case. Why have the developers gone back on their words?

    I hope our lovely developers will find it in their heart to reverse these changes and make amends for their dishonesty **before** the end of the second Elemental Synergy Lucky Road event which starts tomorrow
  • A. At the time I wrote the message, that was the information I had. The coins were supposed to remain until the next launch and be exchanged afterward. Unfortunately, due to a technical error, an automatic exchange occurred.
    I apologize for the confusion. All players will receive a message with a certain amount of Lucky Coins, which can be used in the Lucky Road.

8. Is the Tournament of Power a monthly event?

  • Q. no heroes top next month ?
  • A. No 100% info on that atm.

9. Replacing the Tournament of Power with a non-competitive event would make it fairer

  • Q. Don’t need to complicate it.
    This ToP event itself is never going to be fair due to huge variation of groupings (new server, old server, players of 500k power grouped with 3mil power), let alone due to the start/end of it (different timezones).

    We have to remove this format if we want to talk about fairness to all.
    Just make it like usual event where you have threshold to reach and certain rewards to get once achieving such threshold (E.g. Improve your total hero power by 200k, 300k, etc)
    (this has been proposed  many times for many months but just totally ignored by the CM)

    The proposed format would be fair, stress-free, and achieve the target of making players to focus on upgrading.

    The only drawback is that it doesn’t have competition (competition incites FOMO,  FOMO leads to more spending), and hence will probably never be implemented by Nexter$ as they want $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
  • A. > Don’t need to complicate it.
    Nevertheless, the developers are working on a balancer to ensure the fairest matchmaking possible.
    As for launching in different time zones – given the current state of the game and its focus on global player coverage, it is not feasible to implement a finer breakdown by time zones at this stage.

10. Please place Brawl in Strongford Square

  • Q. Nexter can you please let the brawls to have a designated button to click onto in the home screen just like before? (so that we dont have to go find it in “special events”, it’s just so inconvenient and easy to forget)
  • A. Lately, so many different events have been happening simultaneously in the Dominion that the good old Strongford square is no longer big enough to hold all the icons. I’ve highlighted this issue to the developers, and I hope they come up with a solution. Maybe it’s time for a reinvention and an expansion of the square? In the meantime, we’ll do our best to inform you in our posts if the button is moved to the right-hand list or special events tab.

11. Blackbeard should make it clear from the start that the Piggy Bank is paid

  • Q. Hey CMs, how about telling us ahead, that you can break the piggy bank only with real money? I know it, maybe others here from discord as well… but in general it’s some nasty move of you, guys. That’s why Hero Wars has such a bad reputation and many are thinking that this game is scam… and they are right, it is!
    If someone is paying many emeralds to fill the piggy bank just to figure out, that it’s not free… that’s not fair.
  • A. I’ve passed your feedback to the developers that the mechanics of the piggy bank should be clear from the very first screen.

12. Background on the Totem Fusion announcement

  • Q. totem fusion still not alt yet?
  • A. Quick update on Totem Fusion: yes, it is still coming and release is planned for today, but I don’t have a specific time-frame – we will release it as soon as we will be ready, we need to finalize and test out a few things before rolling out the update.

    Sorry for missing the mark with initial release date – as som of you surely know it was released on smaller platforms yesterday and we’ve found a few nasty (but not so easily detectable by tests – both automatic and manual) bugs that needed to be fixed before further rollout in order not to affect more people.

    We have not notified you about the release date change because there was no definitive information on that yesterday – the plan was to release it as soon as it’s ready. So we could not definitively say to you “yes, it’s going to be released today” or “no, we are moving it”, because the discussion was ongoing and both scenarios were possible. Aaaand at some point we (CMs) needed to get some sleep, so there were no midnight updates from us, sorry about that

13. More ways to obtain Catalysts will be added in the future

  • Q. Good Morning Hero Wars…

    At this time, I would like to express my utter disappointment, with the “Pre-Release Introduction Information” we… the ENTIRE COMMUNITY OF PLAYERS… received…

    We were informed that exchanging totems for emeralds was being discontinued, and that totems would now be exchanged for Elemental Catalysts, as part of the new totem fusion process… along with the Red Spheres for Heroes….

    HOWEVER…. at no time, was it ever mentioned, that exchanging a totem IS THE ONLY WAY to obtain Elemental Catalysts… resulting in a lot of players cashing them in for emeralds, without knowing just how important they will be in the ne totem fusion, which is a direct result of that information not being provided before hand….

    I directly asked this question of the admins, and it went unanswered, but was confirmed by the ticket I sent in…. Elemental Catalysts are available through Totem Fragment/Sphere Exchange ONLY….

    Deception is not a very pretty thing, especially when it comes to light for all to see, and becomes clear as day when the shadows disappear….

    We all know Nexters knew what would happen, and yet they chose to do it anyway, which shows an extreme lack of respect for their community of players…. that are responsible for making the game what it is today…. How about telling us the ENTIRE TRUTH, instead of just what’s convenient…..
  • A. Hello! We said that we plan to Catalysts to be obtainable through different means after the release. Like with Flags and Patterns, we will introduce those means gradually.

14. Titan teams currently have two different Power values

  • Q. yo fix this , after totem fusion 2 different numbers showed , this is the same team but the numbers show when gathering the team +20k points instead of the real team power (-20k)
  • A. The team has already received reports about this issue and is working on a fix.

15. The Totem Fusion skill Primal Zeal does not function on defense

  • Q. Yet another one… Another report about buggy description or buggy programmed skill of the “Totem Fusion” Primal Skills

    Topic: Primal Totem Skill “Primal Zeal” not working in defense(!).

    Thanks to the hint from user I unfortunately had to realize that my last bug report contained an error: The Primal Skill “Primal Zeal” DOESN’T work as described.

    It seems to work as described in attacking mode (and attacking mode was the only thing I tested).
  • A. Hello! Many thanks for the reports and especially for the attached replays.
    I passed them all to our QA and design teams earlier this week, and after analysis, they concluded that some of the skills are not working correctly or have certain inconsistencies in their descriptions.
    Tasks for improvements have been created and are already in progress, so I believe these issues will be fixed soon.

16. CoW attacks sometimes do not end properly

  • Q. What’s wrong with the fire here? It has been burning for 35 hours, though it’s the 2nd target we beat. I wrote to support 34 hours ago, but no response at all!! There must be an easy reset on the stuck spot from Nexters’ support, but no response at all for at least 34 hours?? We got 7500 for over one year, but will our streak of perfect scores end there?! Whales in the guild are totally pissed off!!
  • A. Our customer support team has received a number of reports regarding this issue and is working closely with the development team to resolve it. We hope it will be fixed soon.
    If you or your friends encounter similar issues, please don’t hesitate to contact customer support.

17. Chinese version is not working

  • Q. Hi CMs, hope you are well. I noticed my fellow guildmates using Chinese and Traditional Chinese language modes can’t open the game page since this morning. Could you please notify the game dev team to look into it? thanks!
  • A. Hello! Yep, something seems to be wrong. The team is investigating it…

18. Language settings button does not function

  • Q. No response when we click on the “language button” with chinese version
  • A. The fix has been applied. Please try restarting the game in a couple of minutes.

19. Compensation for the Facebook version payment bug will be given in late August

  • Q. The fix will be revealed when they make a post about the fix for the FB purchasing
    (never…?)
  • A. Yes, at the moment there is information that another round of compensation is planned for FB players later this month.

20. Increase the number of free server transfers

  • Q. please make it that we get a free server move once every year.
  • A. I’ll pass this on to the developers. Maybe I’ll be able to convince them…

21. Please add a commemorative trophy to the Maestro battle

  • Q. Can we have a frame for the Phantom Orchestra Guild Raid as well 
  • A. Personally, I dislike this buttiful avatar
    But your suggestion about the frame has been passed on to the devs.
  • Q. can you add maestro seeds rewards here in the quests like the ones for beating osh 160 and , the beat osh+130 10 times frame we need one for maestro
  • A. noted and passed

22. A new cheat tool has appeared

  • Q. Improved battles in Asgard returned even earlier than I predicted…

    Community managers you ignore posts, but if you have at least a drop of self-respect, then go to script Telegram groups and see what they write there about you and Nexters…people write that script creators know game better than you…this is humiliation (although perhaps you receive dividends from this and you do not care)

    Face facts:
    – you promised to fight cheaters, wrote fiery posts, but as a result you are humiliated once again
    – not a single new event was held without a bug (mediators, Sigurd stones, etc.) and I am sure that in Totems Fusion there will be just chaos…your programmers are really weak and you have been repeatedly humiliated by creators of scripts
    – if earlier I wrote that you are turning game into a casino…then congratulations now game is a casino…goal is achieved…
    If you can’t cope, then just quit  and maybe new people will fix  situation…

    Dear honest players…put as many message as possible…maybe conscience and self-respect will wake up in manager’s and fight against cheaters will be real, and not in words…

    …although I hardly believe in it…so let’s think about how to fix situation…creating a group and urging everyone not to waste money is not effective…we need to create petitions and send them to owners of Nexters…Nexters shareholders, let’s write to owners of Nexters…person who is appointed to manage our game can’t cope…community managers can’t cope…programmers can’t cope…cheaters wipe their feet on Nexters and their team…for more than 2 years already…it’s a shame…
    The owner of Nexters should know this…

  • A. Based on the footage, this particular cheat doesn’t appear to be active yet. It seems to still be in development and is likely being tested on a small group of users.

    We’d like to make our position clear: we do not tolerate the use of third-party software in Hero Wars. We actively fight against cheating and cheaters, especially when it affects competitive modes. Over time, we’ve closed multiple loopholes that allowed the use of scripts in various modes, including Asgard, and we will continue working in this direction.

    That said, anti-cheat work is always an arms race. Closing exploits doesn’t always happen as quickly as we’d like, but we are doing everything we can to ensure all game modes remain fair and competitive.

    We also want to emphasize that public discussions like these only serve to draw more attention to the issue and unintentionally promote the spread of malicious scripts. Please report any suspicious activity directly to our Support Team and/or via Drommbot instead.

    Going forward, we’ll be enforcing stricter moderation and removal of public mentions related to spreading such information.

23. New anti-cheat measures are being prepared, but no implementation date is set

  • Q. Game bug I wrote about today (was reproduced yesterday on Russian servers)… is available for entire WEB space
    Today, opening 1000 spheres for quest, my teammate received 9 totem fragments… at first he thought it was normal and exchanged them for catalysts, but after realizing that no other teammate had received anything like this, he realized it was a bug and wrote about everything to Support

    We don’t know how this bug is reproduced… but it exists… someone opening 10 spheres gets 9 totem fragments, someone opening 2000 spheres gets 0 totem fragments…
    I don’t understand what Nexters were doing yesterday and today… bug was known yesterday…

    We hope that this bug will be fixed and ALL players who unfairly received totem fragments will have their inventory adjusted…

    Nexters… you still released content for WEB with an unfixed bug that you knew about yesterday, which you yourself wrote about today… I am amazed at your incompetence…

    Nexters…guys… if you need our love and support, then we will give it to you… we want game to develop…
    But please remove cheaters from Asgrad and be more responsible about bugs that are present with each new content in  game…
  • A. Thank you for bringing this up, we are investigating these reports and digging into this issue. Yes, measures will be taken to maintain balance and fairness, but no precise time-frame at the moment.
