[Hero Wars Guide] Martha Ascension Season

Format: The first Ascension Season following the system rework.
Featured Theme: An Astrid-themed event.
Duration: 25 days.

Unlocking & Upgrading Ascension Skills

Temporary Unlock: During the event period, the initial Grade of the Skills is temporarily unlocked. Once the event ends, the Skills will be locked unless permanently unlocked through methods such as purchasing an Ascension Ticket.
Seasonal Material Limit: Materials required to upgrade Astrid’s Ascension Skills can be earned throughout the event. However, completing the entire seasonal progression only allows you to reach Grade +1 (Grade +3 cannot be reached during the season for free).
Requirements for Grade +3: Reaching Grade +3 requires either purchasing a bundle or waiting for standard upgrade methods to become available several months later.

Martha’s Ascension Season Is On!

🐢 Martha is taking the spotlight in the second Ascension Season! This time, the seasoned healer is getting two new Ascension Skills that help her speed up her allies and put her impressive durability to work protecting the backline.

⚔️ Play familiar game modes to earn Season Points and progress through the season rewards. Bring Martha along to earn even more points, then collect Ascension Dust and Ascension Shards to develop her new skills and unlock their stronger effects.

How It Works: XP & Score Mechanics

XP Multipliers: The amount of XP earned varies depending on whether the featured Hero is included in your attacking team and whether the battle ends in a win or loss.
Score Caps (Arena, Grand Arena, Dungeon):
- These modes feature a maximum score limit. You cannot exceed this cap regardless of the number of battle attempts.
- Strategy Note: In these modes, even if you lose battles, making additional attempts allows you to reach the maximum score limit.
- In the Guild Dungeon, anyone can earn the daily maximum by adding the featured Hero to the team and intentionally losing 40 times in the Hero Room.
Guild War & CoW Scoring: Maximize your score progression by including the featured Hero whenever viable while securing reliable victories.
- Guild War: Requires being appointed as a Champion and assigned to Hero battles.
- Clash of Worlds (CoW): Consistently winning all 3 attacks awards 1,200 score per battle, 2,400 score per week (assuming featured Hero is used in at least 1 of the 3 attacks).
Campaign: Optimizing Raid Score Efficiency
- Pre-Raid Requirement: Always complete one manual battle with the featured Hero in your lineup before using your regular Raids.
- Score Bonus Effect: After completing this initial battle, the score earned from subsequent Raids increases from +2 to +3 per attempt.
- Soul Stone Multiplier: Campaign stages that award Soul Stones grant 3× the normal score.

Ascension Skill

Invigorating Herbs

Resource: Grade 0 is unlocked for free during the event period and can be upgraded using Ascension Dust.
Skill: While the Totem is active, it increases the speed of all allies by 10%/15%/20%/20%.
Skill+3: The Totem can take up to 3 hits before it is destroyed.

Turtle’s Patronage

Resource: Grade 0 is unlocked for free during the event period and can be upgraded using Ascension Shard.
Skill 0/+1/+2: While Martha has more than 50% Health, 10%/15%/20% of damage received by the nearest ally is transferred to her.
Skill+3: While Martha has more than 50% Health, 20% of damage received by the two nearest allies is transferred to her.

After the Season Ends

Ascension Dust / Ascension Shards

Can only be used during the current season and cannot be carried over to the next season.
Any unused resources will be automatically converted when the season ends:
- 500 Ascension Dust → 1 Ascension Chest
- 250 Ascension Shards → 1 Ascension Chest
They cannot be used to upgrade regular Ascension Glyphs. Regular Ascension resources, such as Star Mana, Crystals, and Insignias, are required instead.

New Ascension Skills

The new Skills are temporarily available during the season.
After the season ends, Skills that have not been permanently unlocked can no longer be used in battle.
However, any Grades and upgrade progress achieved during the season will be saved and will not be reset.
Ways to Permanently Unlock the Skills
- Fully upgrade Ascension Branch II or V where the Skill is located
  → Permanently unlocks the corresponding Skill. Any Grade reached during the season is retained.
- Purchase an Ascension Ticket
  → Permanently unlocks both Skills at their achieved Grades, even without fully upgrading the corresponding Branches.
- Purchase an eligible offer containing Ascension Dust and Ascension Shards
  → Permanently unlocks both Skills.

Future Upgrade Options (Unlock)

Additional methods of unlocking and upgrading these Skills are planned to become available within a few months after the season ends.
This means that Skills not fully upgraded during the season are expected to become upgradeable later.
The exact timing and methods have not yet been determined. (ex. Eternal Seed)

In short:

During the season, the new Skills are available at Grade 0 for free and can be upgraded using seasonal resources. After the season ends, continued use requires permanent unlocking through fully upgrading the corresponding Branch, purchasing an Ascension Ticket, or purchasing an eligible offer. Unused Dust / Shards will be converted into Ascension Chests, while all Skill Grades and upgrade progress will be preserved.
