How it works and what to look for
- Passive ability. A type that has an activation time, not a constant activation.
- Augustus himself is not a hero who develops attacks very quickly, but this skill is passively activated. Can be used in fast attack teams.
- Debuff effect. If the opponent has Sebastian, he will be neutralized by the Debuff Cut activation. Although not activated as often, Celeste and Nebula can also be neutralized by Debuff Cut.
- Debuff Cut counteracts the effect, but Khorus cannot prevent it. Strong against teams that rely on Khorus for Debuff Cuts.
- Deals Pure damage instead of magic damage when an ally’s magic penetration exceeds the opponent’s magic defense.
- Only changes damage type, not damage amount
- If you plug it in without thinking, it just changes the magic damage that fully penetrates to pure damage of the same amount.
- It’s not exclusive to wizards, it affects all magic damage.
- It does not affect heroes who are mages but do not deal magic damage. For example, Iris or Heidi, who specialize in pure damage. For example, Cornelius and Morrigan, who specialize in physical damage, will not be affected.
- Augustus lowers the opponent’s Magic defense with his passive skill. This allows you to trigger this effect while increasing damage
What Augustus’ Pure damage conversion can do
There is more, but here are the main things
- By combining Albus with a magic team, magic damage becomes pure damage, and Albus’ damage boost can be multiplied.
- The range of Albus’ cannon can be increased. Also effective in guild raids. In general, magic damage is higher than physical damage, so Albus’s damage can be multiplied by that amount.
- Axel’s damage distribution does not apply to pure damage. Axel Counter.
- Unlike magical attacks, Rufus will not be protected by anti-magic barriers. However, they will be revived.
- Aurora’s magic damage reflection can be cancelled. Aurora + Oliver can be easily countered.
- Isaac’s skill activation conditions are no longer met, allowing the magic teams to defeat Isaac. However, it does not always activate and is not a one-sided victory. He is especially vulnerable to a development where the transformation is neutralized by Sebastian. Be very careful with the Sebastian + Isaac combo.
- If Sebastian is used to counter Augustus, Biscuit’s Patron can be used to counter the counter.
