  • ⚠️ Due to technical reasons, the special one-day offer for Lara Croft and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles previously announced for July 31 will not be available. We sincerely apologize to everyone who was looking forward to it and appreciate your understanding.

Official Message: September Is Going to Be BIG!

  • Hey Guardians! We recently released a new Titan “family”: Distortion! We know that many of you are already testing it and enjoying the new possibilities, but we also know that this addition has brought some old questions back to the surface: Where are the new Pets? What about Ascension for older Heroes?
  • Today we wanted to talk a little bit about that, because we have an INCREDIBLY busy month ahead of us. Get ready for what’s coming in September! We’ll touch on every feature in more detail later, but for now, we just want to give you a heads-up on what to expect this fall.
  • Starting with a new Season Pass right at the beginning of the month. This one is quite simple: a familiar Season Pass, but with a different focus. This time, it will be dedicated to Distortion Titans. Haven’t been able to max out Alecto and Valdur or their Artifacts during their Adventures? Look no further, you’ll find them here.
  • Now, Ascension! On September 3, one of our older Heroes will get a couple of fun Ascension Skills. She has royal blood and some feral instincts. Can you guess who it will be? And with that, we’ll introduce a new Season Pass-like system and a new Ascension resource specifically used to unlock new Ascension Skills. This system will give us an opportunity to add Ascension Skills to our veteran Heroes much more consistently, hopefully bringing new abilities to one Hero each month.
  • Prestige system update. Okay, we’re already cheating a little and sneaking some October news into our September preview. The September Prestige season will run as usual, followed by a short 3 week break. Then, in October, Prestige will return with expanded progression and new ways to get more out of the system. And if you’re perfectly happy with Prestige as it is, don’t worry: you’ll still be able to play consistently and pick up rewards along the way.
  • New Pet? New Pet! And since we’ve already started stealing news from October, we might as well keep going. Our mysterious newcomer will be unlocked through the new and updated Autumn Festival starting on October 1. That’s sooo close that we simply couldn’t resist unveiling it a little earlier. What do you think it will do? What will its name be? Gender? Something else entirely? ENGAGE WITH US. Oh, and we don’t plan to stop with this mysterious Pet. There might be another one on the horizon…
  • Also, the Autumn Festival itself will be way bigger this time around and will be very reminiscent of the Summer Festival: generators with precious resources, a dedicated map, more quests, a huge Shop, and all that. You know the drill.
  • And a New Hero, of course. What, you thought a new Pet in October meant we’d skip introducing a new Hero or Titan in September? Think again. A new Hero is coming, and they will have something to say to Adam. Curious?
  • P.S. Like, literally something to say. We’re talking lore here, not a counter to Adam, who just appeared in the game. Come on, guys, we’re not psychos.

1. Request for a Fairer CoW Scoring System

  • Q. Season 16. Week 5. We won season 15 and started as place 1 CoW guild into this season. Didnt lose 1 singe match so far. Still we are trailing the current leader by 2k points. yes i know this is not new. still let me ask again:> can we please have a fairer CoW scoring system?Because of this endgame randomness top guilds are losing good players every month and we are endlessly recruiting. And you are losing good customers.
  • A. Yes, I know that this is a big topic for players and something we discuss internally. At this point I don’t have news for you, but it is on our radar.

2. Request to Change the Ad Content Cooldown to a Daily Reset

  • Q. hello, i do not have much money to buy bundles, i want to do this every day for free stuff,this ads expedition must be made 1x a day and reset on our daily reset time (just like any other expedition).we are not robot, we cannot satisfy the current 24 hours cooldown because there are times we are busy.not to mention the ads often hang (the game says no ads to watch no matter how many times we click or the 30 minutes ads that we had no choice but to close, both of which you promised to solve but have not solved), then we cannot clear this. It made me miss it for some days.Also for the ads to summon at soul atrium, the 24 hours cooldown must be removed and changed to daily reset (hence can do 1x a day still).
  • A. That sounds reasonable to me, I will bring it up to the team and see if there’s a possibility to change that, or any potential issues I’m not seeing right now.

3. Request to Reduce Unnecessary Clicks for Random Crystal Items

  • Q. 2 Random Crystal items?Can we please just get the real ascension materials straight away instead of adding even more totally pointless clicks to *really consume* them?
  • A. Hello, I saw this as a QoL request before, and I’ll check that it’s on our list. Hopefully we’ll get to some of those QoL updates soon.

4. Light Titan Elemental Armor Description Change Was Unintended

  • Q. Once again – no changelog/patchnotes, no idea if this is intended or just a wrong description update… Could you please confirm, CM?Elemental Armor of Light Titans changed from old (cp. https://support-hwde.nexters.com/hc/en-us/articles/30411159883026-Elemental-Damage-and-Armor): “light titans in defensive positions are protected from both dark and light elements”to new (new description in the game): “on the defending side, Elemental Armor protects them [light titans] from attacks from Water, Fire, Earth and Distortion Titans”Is that really correct? If on defense, no more against Dark and Light Titans, but now against Earth, Water, Fire (and Distortion)?And since we can’t know what is intended and what is not, since almost everything is bugged what you release, and after I saw this ridiculous change of the Light Titan Elemental Armor:- Elemental Damage and Elemental Armor of all 3 “very old” elements [E/W/F] counts against Distortion Titans, in attacking and in defending teams?- And even more, in defending teams, Elemental Armor of all 5 old elements counts against Distortion Titans?Attached, the new description for the Light Titans Crown:
  • A. Hi folks, checked with the team, this is not intended and it’s just a description issue. It will be fixed soon, we’ll change the description to be correct.

5. Request for Bulk Purchases of Summoner Titan Artifacts

  • Q. Please let us buy nature seals / cosmic seals / a box with all summoner titans weapon artifacts in the upcoming new titan event this month.It was time we can buy them in bulk, at least from the ‘ultimate rare shop (new titan shop)’.Also would be nice to know when can we buy them in the ToE shop. last time you said would ask developer, but what is the result? We need it, otherwise we cannot progress. (we who missed during the original event)
  • A. Hello hello, thank you for bringing it up. We have a specific flow for releasing new seals. And I think it would be nice to have an option to buy it in bulk. As for the ToE Shop, I did bring it up with the team. For now, there’s no decision yet on when these items will be added there. I’ll let you know as soon as I have anything more concrete to share.

6. When Will Summoner Titans Be Added to the Power of the Titans Event Shop?

  • Q. When will the Summoner Titans that have already been added to the Circle of Summoning be added to the Event Shop of the Power of the Titans event? I think quite a lot of players need them. Personally, I feel that Summoner Titans are actually harder to obtain than Super Titans through the Circle of Summoning.
  • A. In general I’ve described the flow of how we add souls here – 2026.Week12 FAQ No.7And when it comes to the shops, no flows that I can share yet. I will try and update you on this.

7. Distortion Totem Accidentally Available from the Altar of Elements

  • Q. New totem is falling out of regular/black spheres!Nexters, please explain what this is?! My options:
    – this is another stupid mistake…but I don’t understand how this even passed testing stage yet again…do you have tests on test server in your system? If so, person(s) responsible for tests should be fired today;
    – deliberate mistake by some saboteur employees…perhaps there’s a parasite on your team that’s ruining game’s economy (this is possible reason for such a systemic impotence against scripts cheaters in Asgard/ToE (i convinced there’s a conspiracy between script creators and parasites at Nexters);
    – black market (this is worst thing, when parasites on team, or even entire development team, deliberately create holes in game and leak them to certain players for money…holes can be made in hero/titan stats, resources, etc., it’s catastrophically dangerous)
    Personally, I’m leaning toward 2nd option…Nexters…you’ve over-revved game temp…you’re not keeping up with testing new updates…stop your hero and titan pipeline, work on game optimizing, and most importantly, on countering scripts…come to your senses before it’s too late…Please… I sincerely want the game to be successful…
    P.S. I personally received a new totem fragment from a regular sphere (opened spheres for a quest yesterday and this dropped)…I’m writing here because game’s support irritates me (it’s not functional, not informative)…I could hide this for selfish reasons, but I wish the game prosperity…Nexters if you decide to save this fragment for me, as an honest player, I will be grateful🥰
    P.S.I see that many players have received this totems…hope this is not a bug and we can get these totems for spheres 😉 🥃
  • A. Hi folks, this has now been fixed, and the Elemental Spirit of Distortion Totem can no longer be obtained from the Altar. We’re also discussing the next steps internally. I’ll update you here as soon as I have more information.

  • A. Hi folks, update from our side. Players who already obtained the new totem during the bug get to keep it, and we’re not planning to return the Distortion Totem to the Altar at the moment.We’re very sorry about the inconvenience this caused.

  • Q. Whzt does ”at the moment” mean in this context please?Does it mean you may yet change this decision?
  • A. It means that at some point it will be added, but it will be a while, more of a regular cycle. We don’t have a timeline on that at the moment, but I’d say it will be at least 6 month until it’s added to the Altar.

8. No Compensation for Players Who Missed the Distortion Totem

  • Q. Please take away my distortion totem fragments. I need an egregious injustice to help me overcome the sunk cost phallacy that this burden of a game has become. If you take away my accumulated totem fragments, I can easily justify walking away. So please raise this issue with the devs. Liberate me, and thousands of others.
  • A. Hello and sorry to hear that you want to leave the game. Like I said before, we will not be taking away totem fragments obtained during the period when they were available in the Altar.
  • Q. With regards to this, will there be adequate compensation for the individuals who did not participate in the altar when the totems were there? Because it is extremely unfair if other people were able to get the totems and yet some of us (probably a lot of us) will be behind everyone else?
  • A. I’ve just answered here – FAQ No.7 I think it’s relevant to what you’re talking about. And no, there will not be compensation for the players who didn’t get the totem.

9. Nexters’ Reaction to the Premature Distortion Totem Drops

  • Q. Nexters when they found out about distortion totems dropping from altar prematurely
  • A. Well, what can I say, top notch meme work as always

10. Handling of Distortion Totems Obtained Through a Bug

  • Q. Another disgusting decision from an incompetent team!There was a bug in game, some players exploited it and got a unique item for old resources that could only be purchased with new money… Is that fair to other players?! Nexters!? CM?! It’s a funny situation…I think Nexters initially planned to take away buggy totems, but then guys from Olympus showed up and started crying (naturally, if they had a negative decision, it would have been on their YouTube channel)…and as a result, Nexters leave totems and spit on rest of players, who now have to buy totems with new money! I am astonished by Nexters’ incompetence and impudence…think all players should demand return of totem fragments to altar!
  • A. As for the decision itself, it’s consistent with how we usually handle situations like this. For example, if something is accidentally sold at the wrong price, we don’t normally take the purchased items away from players afterwards, and close the loophole. I absolutely understand why players who didn’t have the same opportunity to get the Totem feel this is unfair. But this wasn’t an intended offer or planned way of obtaining it, it was a bug. Once some players had already received the Totems, we felt that reverting those purchases and removing them from their accounts would create an even worse situation.I know that doesn’t make the outcome feel fair for everyone, but given the circumstances.
  • Q. Want to start new totem in altar in six months? OkayBut you need to come up with a solution that will satisfy everyone. Creating a unique offer where one fragment is available for emeralds is optimal (but real price, 150k ems, not more)
  • A. No plans for that at the moment.

11. Request to Return the Distortion Totem to the Altar and Announce Availability Changes in Advance

  • Q. I am 100% ok with the decision that you didn’t reverse the new totems gained from the Altar and didn’t punish those players, since it just wasn’t an obvious bug and you can’t punish players for your continuous bugs and your (Nexters) lack of communication: Why can’t you just announce in advance that you change the totem availability from the Altar compared to the release of the last elements (Light/Dark), that were available from the very first day in the Altar? So at least those who gained the Fragments from the Altar after Alecto got released for preorder could have been sure that the only bug they see is that you just forgot to add the picture of the Distortion Totem to the picture of the Altar…BUT: Don’t always penalize honest players for your faults! As so often in this game (with the exception of the Lara event bug), those who do not immediately exploit bugs — whether actual bugs or merely perceived “bugs” — end up being the losers.Damn it, own up to your mistakes and face the consequences! Don’t penalize honest players for your faults by removing Distortion Fragments from the Altar for an extended period; instead, get the sources of the bugs under control and — in the interest of treating all players equally — make the Distortion Totem Fragments available for the Altar again!
  • A. I’ve answered something similar here – QA No.XXXAs for announcing it in advance, I wasn’t here when the previous Elements were released, but that was around four years ago. A lot has changed since then, so I don’t think comparing the two releases directly is entirely fair.I do understand the point about players who didn’t encounter the bug feeling like they missed an opportunity through no fault of their own. I’ve already passed that part of the feedback along as well.

12. Server Merge Postponement and Confirmation of the New Start Date

  • Q. LoL, guilds getting ready to be merged on Sunday, on a short notice because Nexters need all the time in the world to run their random number generator while we are supposed to arrange all our business hastily. And then, on Friday, mere 2 days before merge was supposed to happen, it is postponed to next Saturday. No need to wonder why the clown emoji was such a popular reaction before banned. I’d be tempted to use it for this, too. But since we’re supposed not to use it, I’ll just say it this way: This behavior is beyond unprofessional.
  • A. Hello, I do get the frustration, but I think it’s better to postpone to fix a potential issue, rather than go forward with a merge and break the prestige progression. I think that would upset a lot more players.
  • Q. Is it still expected to begin on Saturday, while CoW is active?
  • A. Yes, I will post an update, but yes August 22 is confirmed.

13. Server Merge Date and Impact on Asgard

  • Q. Btw, they should by now confirm if the server merge is going to really happen on August 22 and also confirm the disruption time (for merging/maintenance process). Could we please have an official announcement to confirm this scheduled server merge CM?
  • A. Hello, it is confirmed – Aug 22 UpdateFolks, we have an update on Lara and Turtle bundles, it should go live on August 22. I hope there will not be tech issues this time around, we’ll announce it on socials soon.
  • Q. any word on how the merge will affect asgard raid?
  • A. It should not affect it, well except for the downtime 🙂

14. Technical Issues and Progress During the Server Merge

  • Q. The big headache is complex, compunded errors. Like Arena not working on 17 servers, Grand Arena not working on 9 of them, Guild War not working on 6, etc…. Totally unrelated, but all created by the merger process. You would really have no good place to start looking for the error. So far it seems everything goes smooth in terms of functionality, fingers crossed.
  • A. Okay, so I checked with the team, and it looks like there were some unexpected technical complications during the merger. They’re very much working on it right now and will continue working. There is no way to speed up the process at the moment, they did everything they could to do that, but unfortunately it will take a while. And yes, it looks like at this rate some will be moved to tomorrow. Apologies for the delay to the players affected.
  • Q. Thanks for the information, CM. Do you expect people to work constantly or during business hours? (I’m not presuming an answer–the question behind the question is whether I can assume that roughly 20 minutes per server times number of servers before mine is when they’ll get to me.)
  • A. It depends on the team/task. For example, as a CM I work more traditional “business hours” unless we have an emergency or a big event is planned. But some teams have different shifts based on the task at hand. Like for example with the merger, it as planned so a lot of folks from relevant teams are on it. In this case my assumption is that it will be a continuous process, not just business hours 🙂
  • Q. My advice: skip merges for now – next plan it better – smaller groups (2 servers together not 8/9)/make some tests before whole process/ come back well prepaired
  • A. We did plan for it, heavily, I don’t know the technical details, because that’s not my field, but it was very much unexpected that it will take this much time.
  • Q. Thanks for the heads-up! Appreciate the dev team working through the complications. Just out of curiosity, what’s the protocol if our games won’t load in the upcoming days? I’m also worried about my account—is there any chance data could get wiped or lost during the merger?
  • A. I do not think there’s any fear in data being lost tbh, I have not seen any issues reported like that, and the team is pretty vigilant.
  • Q. You still haven’t published exchange rate for VIP points for emeralds (if game accounts are on merged servers)…and there are no instructions on how exactly this will be implemented…🤬
  • A. I did answer that in the FAQ, we can’t share the exact rate
  • Q. Are we getting any compensation for the wait this time?
  • A. Not at the moment, but I will sync up with the full team on Monday and we will see

15. Request for Advance Notice of Server Maintenance and Merge Updates

  • Q. Is it possible to be informed of the scheduled times and dates for server maintenance in advance?Will I have to endure days of anxiety—like today—not knowing when the work might begin and suddenly losing the ability to log in?
  • A. Like I said above, there’s not much we could do in this specific case. It was not planned, the delay and the speed of the merge. I completely understand why it would be anxiety inducing, and we wish it would go as fast as was expected
  • Q. Please consider to have a unified channel of posting these kind of updates. Facebook? News? Starboard?
  • A. You’re right, I posted that update in <#502128394134093825> so other players don’t have to search for it
  • Q. need to learn what a soft update is. It’s where you do an experimental process of your plan first, to discover all the bugs. Nexters always do this, in every update, event, new titan or hero etc, they let US find the bugs for them and suffer through them instead of beta testing like they should, it’s unprofessional
  • A. I’ve already answered this above, we did plan, and we did test. This was very much unexpected.
  • Q. That’s ok, we are here now and this is the situation, but it has been 5-6 hour since the merge started and we are not even done with first 3 clusters. Any plans on what could happen if this doesn’t finish by end of Sunday? Will the merge be postponed again?
  • A. I don’t have an estimate at this time, as soon as I do, I’ll let you know. But it will probably continue and not be postponed, but don’t treat this assumption as a confirmation. I will confirm separetely if I know something to be 💯 accurate
  • Q. Thank you for taking the time, I know there’s a lot of questions flying around right now. If we do end up continuing with the merge into the start of next week, we need to understand what happens to the GW rewards if we merge in the middle of a new GW week fight so if possible to also get some clarification on how this will be handled. For example we finished first in Gold in our GW last couple of weeks, if we happen to be mid-week when we do move and we are not first at the time, do we still get the 1st place rewards for the next 4 weeks as initially planned?
  • A. I have not seen any updates on GW, it should be what we initially planned. But if that changes or the speed of the merger affects it, I will check with the team and update you here.

16. How Will Multiple Accounts Be Handled After the Server Merge?

  • Q. How exactly will this be implemented?! For example, I have an account on server 43 and on server 54… I log in to server 43… what happens next?
  • A. I don’t understand your question, if you mean if you have 2 progresses, that was also covered in the FAQ
  • Q. The question is simple and many are concerned how it will actually work! An alt account and a main account are colliding in a new merged megaserver. As per the FAQ the player will receive options to either transfer one of the accounts somewhere else or sacrifice it for some emerald worth. So is this really going to happen like this? Has there been such case already on the two merged group of servers, did it go well?
  • A. I’ve answered this before, you should not treat the merger as a way to consolidate your resources. You should consider if you want to keep that account or not. And if you’d like to keep it, you should have moved it in advance to an unaffected server.
  • Q. Update: I never noticed before that 4 and 5 were gone.
    I stupidly assume that there were eight servers between Server One and Server Eight inclusive. Doh!
  • A. Why are you screaming 😄 (I’m just kidding)

17. Communication About the Server Merge Continuing into Monday

  • Q. Please let me know if work will continue into Monday if it isn’t finished by Sunday.A simple confirmation that you will definitely contact me if it looks like it won’t be finished is all I need.I have my own schedule to consider; honestly, even if I check Discord, simply being told that work is “currently in progress” doesn’t tell me if it will actually be completed.I don’t even know if there will be an announcement from the management regarding the server merger tomorrow.
  • A. I can’t give you a confirmation, unfortunately, I will login tomorrow to check on the progress, and will update here if there is anything urgent. I can tell you what I posted earlier – the team is on it, merging merging merging

18. Impact of the Server Merge on Events and Guild War Rewards

  • Q. I’m pretty sure there is one guy in the office that manually moves players to the other servers, ‘cos the automated process crashed. Makes me wonder what will happen if we are not able to fully participate in current titan events? Any comment on that CM?
  • A. It’s not just one person and it’s not manual. And if the downtime affects the events greatly, we’ll discuss internally and decide on steps moving forward
  • Q. Soooooo, this raises another question with the delay. The original message was that you would receive prizes for your current GW place for 4 weeks after the merge. NOW, that was if the merge happened on Saturday as planned. If you placed 6th in Gold on Friday, but lost the relegation fight today (which shouldn’t count for merger purposes), how will this impact your prizes when the merge has been moved to Sunday?
  • A. I’ve answered this earlier – so far there is no changes to the initial plan regarding GW, if there will be I’ll let you know

19. Recent Increase in Bugs and Development Quality

  • Q. The rate at which Nexters produces mistakes/bugs these days is staggering. This shows they are going for next level greed by trying to save money to a point where it threatens the core functionality of the game. Makes the whole company look very unprofessional.
  • A. I get why it feels that way when a few visible issues happen close together.But I don’t really agree that we’re producing more bugs overall. This was a pretty big update with two new Titans and a lot of new content, and considering the scale of it, there were actually relatively few issues.Of course, the bugs that did happen are still annoying, I’m not trying to downplay that.I can’t show you our internal tracking, but we do monitor bugs and critical issues over time, and the overall trend over the past six months has actually been better, not worse.

20. Has the Quality of English Wordplay Deteriorated?

  • A. It’s intentional, so the wordplay works 🙂
  • Q. I think “Would you expect an Echo echo back?” would work. 😀I used to be really good a humor.
