Which teams are performing well in the late 2025 AoC event?
Here are five standout teams, plus one bonus pick:

1. Galahad & Lyria

• The latest physical team gives players an edge over those who haven’t kept up with the current meta.
• Highly versatile and effective if you’re looking for a straightforward, powerful lineup.
• Lara Croft is the best DPS option, but keep in mind she’s weak against Kayla.
• In high-level guild battles, Kayla is a popular DPS choice. In such matchups, the attacking team often has the advantage — both sides consume Speed Boosters, and aces frequently drop out due to AP depletion.
• This team is vulnerable to Krista teams; switching your DPS to Isaac can reverse the matchup.

2. Krista & Cascade

• The newest magic team, built on the synergy between the reworked Krista and Cascade.
• Can include Orion, Helios, Lars, Nebra, Augustus, Folio, or Polaris. Amira has poor synergy with Cascade and isn’t recommended.
• Performs strongly against many teams, including Galahad & Lyria.
• Despite being a magic team, Cascade’s skill can defeat Rufus — both a strength and a weakness.
• Isaac remains a hard counter and is sometimes included even in mirror Krista team matchups.

3. Ishmael Tank

• A team where gauge management is key — tricky to use but extremely powerful once it gains momentum.
• From the second battle onward, Ishmael starts combat already transformed. When successful, it can achieve consecutive victories, showing overwhelming sustainability even without Health potions.
• Winning the first fight properly allows Ishmael to defeat many teams. The main challenges are finding the right opponent to trigger transformation, preventing backline collapse, and avoiding gauge resets when using potions.
• The latest builds use Guus, often capable of surviving counter teams like Folio setups designed to beat Ishmael.
• Active since the early days of the Conquest Area. Although counters like Electra and Krista have reduced its prominence, Ishmael with Guus remains powerful and broadly compatible with most modes.

4. Alvanor Tank

• A team capable of defeating even an enraged Ishmael with a full gauge.
• Performs well even at moderate power levels. Replacing Alvanor with an Amira tank sacrifices the ability to handle gauged Ishmael but improves performance against Lyria teams.
• The latest variant, popularized by the DASHIMAKI-TAMAGO guild, uses Folio and Polaris for defense and finishes with Aidan, who is patroned by Albus.
• Teams using Nebra and Heidi also exist — they trade Folio’s defense for greater offensive pressure.
• Folio and Heidi counter different opponents: roughly speaking, Folio excels against damage-heavy teams, while Heidi performs better against Guus-based setups.

5. Kayla & Keira

• A direct counter to Galahad & Lyria, using the fast-attack DPS combo of Kayla and Keira to quickly eliminate Sebastian or Lara Croft.
• Another DASHIMAKI-TAMAGO specialty — used by guilds that have faced them, and its relative obscurity works to its advantage.
• Built specifically to counter Galahad & Lyria. Unlike Krista & Cascade, it cannot be countered by Isaac and instead pairs with magic teams to act as an “Isaac remover.”
• Comes in two variants: one centered on Galahad and one on Lyria.
• Not particularly strong against magic teams; the Lyria-less version also struggles versus Dante tank or Aurora.

Bonus: Lyria & Dante

• Combines Lyria and Dante to expand coverage when pure Dante teams struggle.
• A transitional option for those shifting away from standard Dante setups.
