Event Guide
![[Hero Wars Guide] Tournament of Titan Power](https://h-w.fun/en/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2025/05/Hero-Wars-Guide-Tournament-of-Titan-Power_2.jpg)
- This event debuted in early 2025 as an import from the mobile version of the same name.
- During the event, players will compete in a ladder system to earn tournament points based on the amount of Titan upgrades they receive.
- The focus of the upgrades will be on Titans only, with Heroes and Pets apparently excluded.
- Rankings will be determined among players with similar levels of progression. This ranking system is cross server rather than server specific.
- Once the matchup is set at the beginning of the event, it will remain set for the duration of the event. Players cannot manually select their opponents, as the system automatically assigns matches.
- Tournament points can be earned not only through Titan progression, but also as rewards for completing event-specific quests.
- Both daily rewards and overall ranking rewards are available throughout the duration of the event.
- Success in this event often depends on strategic resource management. By identifying which matches are winnable, players can invest hard-to-collect resources at the right time to maximize their ranking.
- Pushing too hard for power gains during this event can work against you when it comes time to defend in ToE or CoW. The event rewards aren’t substantial enough to justify the trade-off.
- Players who have maxed out their Titans can only earn ranking points through quest rewards. Although they can complete the quests automatically, it’s nearly impossible for them to compete for first place. The rewards essentially serve as participation prizes, which makes it seem as though they don’t have a real chance to compete meaningfully in the event.

Things to keep in mind when receiving in-game mail
- Quest rewards can be claimed via in-game mail, but they will not count toward your ladder or daily records if received this way.
- For this event, quest rewards must be claimed manually.
- Daily quest rewards can be received via in-game mail.
Daily Tasks
- You earn event points throughout the day to complete daily quests.
- If you complete your event quests early, consider holding off on claiming the rewards to spread them out over several days. This strategy becomes especially useful once your Titan development is finished. While it might seem unnecessary to collect more rewards at that point, it’s smart to stay prepared for the introduction of additional Titans.
- Daily quests reset according to the event’s official reset time, so using time zone tricks to gain an advantage isn’t possible.

Leaderboard (Ranking View)
- The main event screen displays a summary of the rankings, but synchronization accuracy tends to be relatively low.
- When you open the screen, it loads data from other players. This can cause delays due to server synchronization, but it allows you to view rankings that are closer to real time. Regularly refreshing this data is especially important during the final five minutes of the competition.
- Ranking rewards vary by event. Notably, the first-place avatar reward is currently a one-time-only item—if you don’t secure first place during that event, there won’t be another chance to obtain it.

How the Current Matchmaking System Works
- Strict Team-Level Matching: Players at level 130 are matched only with others at the same level. Lower-level players are grouped separately.
- Limit on Paying Players per Group: Each group includes a maximum of six paying players. The system is designed to mix paying and non-paying users, making it unlikely for non-paying players to be grouped exclusively with other free users.
- Definition of “Paying Player”: A player is considered “paying” if they’ve made any purchase within the past 30 days, regardless of the amount.
- Group Size Constraints: While the general matchmaking pool can include up to 200 players, groups composed entirely of level 130 players are limited to just 15 members.
- Inactive Players: Inactive players may still be included in matchmaking groups, although they typically do not appear in the rankings.
Please note that this information is speculative, based on in-game data and player observations, and not confirmed. Additionally, the matchmaking system may change from event to event.
Earning a Ranking Score
- Sources of Ranking Score:Points are earned through quest rewards, Titan upgrades, and Totem enhancements.
- Quest Rewards:
Ranking points are granted when you claim the rewards, not when you complete the quests.
Forgetting to claim rewards results in lost points.
Strategic manual claiming is essential, especially due to betting mechanics and daily ranking fluctuations. - Titan Upgrades:
– Star promotions provide immediate score increases.
– Avoid upgrading the first and second artifacts solely for rankings—this can lead to irreversible disadvantages in ToE and CoW defense.
– Third artifacts should also be upgraded selectively.
– That said, these upgrades can enhance CoW offense, so the decision depends on your overall playstyle. - Totem Upgrades:
– Totems indirectly impact ranking by improving the stats of all Titans of the corresponding element.
– The ranking score comes from the enhanced Titan stats, not from the Totem’s power itself. - Design Philosophy:
– Ranking points are not distributed universally.
– This system is meant to foster competition among players during events. Universal distribution would conflict with its intended design.

After the Event Ends
- Any unused tournament points will be deleted once the event concludes.
- Unlike other events, these points are only used for daily quests and rankings; they will not be converted into other items.
- Point resets also appear to be processed before the event begins. Although there have been instances of failed resets in the past, measures have been implemented to prevent point reuse in the Hero Tournament.
