Overview: One of the Earth Titans who grants a team-wide shield with durability equal to 300% of his Physical Attack.
Meta Transformation: Long regarded as the weakest Titan, Avalon rose dramatically in the meta following the introduction of Totem Fusion. He truly shines when the Earth Totem’s Affinity Skill is set to Echo Aegis. Without Echo Aegis, his shield absorbs roughly 1.8 million damage across all five allies. With Echo Aegis, its effective durability increases to roughly three times that amount by adding shielding equal to approximately 30% of each target’s maximum Health.
Primary Tank: When Echo Aegis reaches Rank 6, Avalon often overtakes Angus as the preferred tank. As a result, he has become the most common frontline Titan in double-Totem compositions.
Barrier Synergy: Echo Aegis provides excellent synergy with other barrier-based Titans. Before its introduction, Rigel was rarely used in the standard Earth + Light lineup. With Echo Aegis, however, the Avalon–Rigel pairing has become one of the strongest combinations.
Earth Titan Synergy: Avalon also has excellent synergy with other Earth Titans, particularly Verdoc, Phyto, and Eden. Verdoc and Phyto provide additional crowd control, while Eden’s pull further improves the team’s survivability.
Stat Priorities: Both Physical Attack and Health are critical for Avalon, making him difficult to use with minimal investment. However, Elemental Weapon and Elemental Armor are far less important. Once reasonably developed, he performs close to his maximum potential without requiring fully maxed stats.
Manual Play: Because shield durability persists throughout the battle, you can delay recasting the shield while the current one is still active. This preserves it for critical moments and buys time to charge the Earth Totem.
Dungeon Performance: Avalon is essential for Dungeon progression, especially in Earth rooms. He can replace Angus when Angus lacks Energy, buy time while charging the Earth Totem, or serve as the frontline tank to clear Earth stages before recovering in mixed-element rooms.
