Official Message: July Events! 

  • ☀️ Summer has arrived in Dominion! While the days are getting hotter, July is bringing plenty of adventures, familiar events, and exciting rewards, including the Summer Festival and a few new additions we can’t wait to share with you — so be sure to keep an eye on the calendar so you don’t miss what’s ahead!
  • 🏆 July also brings updated Tournament of Power rewards. Hero Tournaments will now reward Golden Threads instead of Emeralds, while Titan Tournaments will reward Primal and Elemental Catalysts.
  • And one more thing, Guardians: as mentioned before, we’ve reduced the number of recurring event posts in the feed, but don’t worry — all Energy rewards will still be evenly distributed throughout the month.
  • Whenever you want to check what’s coming next, this calendar will help you stay on track!

Hero Unlocks

  • The July 2026 update includes two notable Hero unlocks.
  • Lyria, a key Hero for physical teams, has been added to the Soul Stone Chest, while Fluffy, a key Hero for magic teams, has been added to the Soul Atrium.
  • Lyria is now available on new servers as well. However, unlike Dante Tank, she is not a Hero who performs well simply by concentrating resources on her alone. In addition, her Soul Stones are more difficult to obtain than Dante’s, whose Soul Stones are available through the Tower Shop. As a result, building an effective counter with the same level of investment is considerably more difficult during the early stages of a new server than it was during the Yasmine and early Dante Tank metas.

  • Lyria has been added to the bottom of the Hero list.

Soul Atrium

  • Fluffy has been added to the grand prize pool. However, this is generally not something worth actively pursuing, so most players can expect to unlock Fluffy gradually over time.

Combat Training Fix and Adam’s Skin Unlock

  • Combat Training Update: Combat Training has been updated to correctly reflect current CoW buffs by adjusting parameter ranges. This primarily affects players responsible for key buff strongholds, making it a valuable update for optimizing CoW lineups.
  • Adam’s Ceremonial Skin: Adam’s Ceremonial Skin is now available through standard Skin Stones.
  • Meta & Performance: Adam is capable of dealing very high damage in Guild Raid and is often used as an alternative to Lara Croft in PvP. Since his performance relies heavily on survivability, upgrading this skin improves his durability and overall consistency across matchups.

  • Hi folks, we updated Combat Training, it should correctly reflect CoW buffs now. Apologies for the inconvitience. 
  • Also a bit of good news – tomorrow during the day Adams Ceremonial Skin will be unlocked, you’ll be able to purchase it with Skin Stones.

1. Sharing Community Disappointment Regarding Summerfest to Dev Team

  • Q. Well. Summer Festival is ending soon, and frankly, that’s a good thing.
    Hero Wars used to have FOUR good seasonal events, well worth saving up for: Spring Rebirth, Summer Fest, Spooky Fest, and Winter Fest.
    Spring Rebirth was the weakest, probably because it was relatively close to the Birthday event, and also was the first to be degraded into obscurity. Spooky Fest was next, though the decline was slow, and it’s still one of the better events.
    Then two years ago, they gutted Winterfest. No more happy skin gifting to ensure the entire guild got all 4 new skins, no more daily soul stones for a variety of heroes, way worse rewards, and generally very little festivities. And of course CoW running a week longer keeping people away from celebrating the holidays.
    Then came last year’s Summer fest, and it was GREAT. The cost for gambling for honey pots (Seriously. WHO came up with *that* little detail?!) went up from 250 to 330, there were some other odds and ends, but the hives made up for everything. We had high hopes for the game.
    Spooky Fest that year continued its decline, but again slow enough it was still ok. Winter Fest last year was… disappointing. It was something to do, the hives were good, but overall pretty much meh.
    Spring Fest this year was dead of course, but then it has been for some time now, many people don’t even *remember* it used to be special.
    And then… Well. Summer Fest is dead, too. No need to save up any resources, to do any planning, to do anything at all other than click the freebies, really. The hives are meh, everything is WAY too expensive, and retiring from the game suddenly looks a lot more attractive.

I really do appreciate it, and this very much highlights what we talked about above – giving feedback, your post is a great example of how to communicate your disagreements and disappointment clearly. I’ve noted and passed along all your collective feedback about Summer Fest.

2. CoW Delay Proposal Rejected; Adjustments Handled via Combat Training

  • Q. A 1-week delay for the next cow season would be a good option if they devs are still tweaking/changing things around. That 1-week delay would be also a good opportunity to leave sometimes for players’ movement in and out of the current guild as they couldn’t do it due to restriction during this current summer event (sorry, this is obviously not a festival).
  • A. Thank you for the suggestion, I don’t know the technical details, but ultimately the team decided that it was not a good option, and that leaving the buffs as is and adjusting combat training.

3. Request to Add Gift Functionality for Summer Festival Passes

  • Q. Another important point…Summer Festival gold pass couldn’t be gifted to a teammate…this is very bad…there are F2P players in our guild and we would like help them…in my opinion, it should be possible to gift any pass at any event
  • A. Noted, that is a very fair suggestion. I will pass it along!

4. Request for Previewable Contents in Honey Caskets

  • Q. Nexters, you should have let us seen what the honey caskets contained (you have a dedicated ui for that, it is a one-minute change for you). The avatars and frames is something that makes players spend money, I do not see any benefit for you to hide them.
  • A. Thank you for highlighting this, I will pass it along.

5. Removal of Andvari Roots from Lucky Road Grand Prizes in August

  • Q. CMs, please ask the devs to remove the 100× Andvari Roots grand prize from Lucky Road. There are two reasons for this:
    1. The value is far too low compared to the other grand prizes. 100 Andvari Roots are simply not worth nearly as much as the other rewards.
    2. Their usefulness is very limited, and they are now easy to obtain through Titan Artifact Spheres.
    Also, if you want to keep the Nature Seal as a Lucky Road grand prize, please increase the reward to at least 50× its current amount. The current quantity is too low compared to the value of the other grand prizes.
  • A. Before we end this session, I have a bit of good news – you’ve requested that Andvari Roots would be removed from Lucky Road grand price, and the team agrees, it will be removed in August.

6. Conversion Rules for Unused Exclusive Skin Stones

  • Q. CM With adams ceremonial skin becoming unlockable with skin stones tomorrow, will all unused exclusive skin stones convert or able to roll over to somna?
  • A. Hello hello, they will be converted, just like we had last time. So if you want to use them, now is a good time 🙂

7. Automatic Conversion of Exclusive Coins Maintained per Legacy Spec

  • Q. Nexters…why did you unilaterally exchange exclusive coins for chests?! Many of us invested in buying packs with exclusive coins and are now very angry! We bought exclusive coins! We didn’t buy skin chests! We bought coins so we’d have a supply of exclusive coins when new heroes were released! You look like scammers! You’re crazy! Your economy, with its rate of new content only for new money, will lead game to collapse! It’s impossible to plan anything in game, impossible to invest… it’s madness…
  • A. While I do understand your point, I have to highlight that this isn’t a new change. We’ve been converting leftover Exclusive Coins into Skin Chests for quite some time now (since Fluffy’s skin I believe) so they haven’t really been something players could stockpile indefinitely for future Hero releases.

    If your feedback is that you’d rather Exclusive Coins remained permanent and could be saved for future Heroes, that’s absolutely fair, and I will pass it along.

8. Seer’s Game Exclusive Skins Scheduled for Unlock ~6 Months Post-Launch

  • Q. Player says something about unlock seers skin? Anyone know something about it? When it gonna heppend?
  • A. Yes, some info about that here – Week 26 Q&A No.2

    On a different note, we’ve heard your questions regarding Seer’s Game Skins, and we now have a clearer unlock cycle for them too. Moving forward, we are aiming to unlock these Skins roughly 6 months after the initial introduction through the Seer’s Game. We will start implementing this unlock mechanism in the beginning August (or at the end of July, but that’s less likely).

    And we will start with unlocking a bunch of older Seer’s Game Skins:
    • Angelic Krista
    • Chompris Iris Skin
    • Chabba’s mom skin
    • Julius Winter Skin
    • Angelic Lars skin

    And, moving forward, we will do our best to unlock other Seer’s Game Skins once they get to the 6 month in-game point.

9. Displaying Drop Rates Directly on Wheel UI Under Consideration

  • Q. It always comes up like that before you spin. Btw, this is a classical gacha mechanic / mind game – the chance of rolling “x100” isn’t proportional to the area / visual ‘width’ it takes up on the wheel. I don’t find the probabilities for the various outcomes documented somewhere under support articles or drop rates, is this an oversight / shortcoming?
    A. There are % for the exchange shop in the drop rate article, or did you mean something else?

    Q. It’s really the visual – the wheel makes it look like each segment has an equal probability. This is not unique to the emerald wheel, or to Hero Wars.
    A. Yeah, I see what you mean and I agree that it’s not unique to our game specifically.

    Q. The Wheel (or the cards in Seers Game, or the spins in Lucky Road) can’t accurately reflect the odds and still be legible on a screen. Maybe an info click or note that the likelihood of specific results are at [link webpage] would provide greater transparency. Fate’s Wishes provides the data pretty clearly.
  • A. I think that’s good feedback, we’ve discussed recently the addition of rates to the game for new events. I’ll pass it along to see if we can have it displayed in-game for this as well.

10. Community Calls for Offer Consistency Regarding Speed Boosters

11. Unannounced Details Regarding Elarite Totem Mechanics

  • Q. I have some questions which would help me with my mid-term resource planning, CMs : What are your current plans – yes i know they may change – about resources for leveling Elarite – or what ever the new totem may be – Totems up? maybe you can answer some of the following questions yet.
    1. Will the current absolute totem summoning spheres allow us to chose Elarite totem fragments or are there going to be completely different spheres for this?
    2. Will CoW Trophies be suitable to level Elarite Totems up?
    3. Will there be a chance to get Elarite Totem Fragments at the Altar of the Elements?
    4. Will TMNT manholes have a chance to drop an Elarite Totem Fragment?
    5. Will it be possible to gift current or future totem summoning spheres to accounts which dont have the Elarite Totem at 6 star?
  • A. All good questions, but at this point nothing has been revealed/confirmed, so there’s not much I can share. Let’s try and comeback to discussing this later on. A lot of questions and further discussions about CoW, I posted an update yesterday, and there’s not much more I can say on the topic. Your feedback has been noted. And CT has been fixed.

12. Exploratory Stage for New Pets and Existing Pet Reworks

  • Q. So they can tell us one more time that there are no plans for new pets? OK – maybe it’s time for another reminder. Unless pets come to Alliance, I doubt they will devote resources to develop new pets as there is no potential to leverage them across both games. More pets would be great, but it’s not going to happen.
  • A. Let me blow up Discord a bit over the weekend. We are *thinking* about new pets and how to improve existing ones 👀

13. Policy Clarification: Constructive Criticism Welcomed, Toxicity Prohibited

  • Q. The problem is they only want cheerleaders on this discord so there is rarely anything useful or feedback anymore. I tend to only check waiting on a game update or after wraping up from one. Right now checking on updates on the bringing back the ads and surveys for emeralds again. Nexters can’t allow critics in the money scam while they are trying to sell the company off this year. Yeah I got the investment over from the parent that included 4 other game companies that that just repackage and resele properties. Might also explain no laura/turtle stuff and free tab going away so long as they had to clean up contracts to make any transfers. In the last couple weeks even seen some mods just quit so something is going on and while I can see the patterns, I don’t have enough to form a real picture. Major shakeups but little why.
  • A. I’ve said this multiple times before, but I’m very much happy to discuss it again, because I think it’s an important discussion to have.

    The goal is not to fill the server with cheerleaders. Honest, constructive criticism is very much welcome here. The question has never been whether feedback is negative. It’s how it’s communicated. Players are absolutely free to disagree with decisions, tell us they think we’ve made a mistake, or even say they dislike the direction the game is taking. All we ask is that it’s communicated properly and follows server rules.

    If you’ve seen many of the recent discussions, you’ll know I’ve spent a lot of time replying to criticism rather than trying to silence it. I don’t expect everyone to agree with every decision, what I do want is for us to foster an environment where toxicity and insults are not the norm.

14. Confirmation That Facebook Hero Wars Will Not Shut Down on Sept 30

  • Q. I do not think AI answered my ticket, however do not doubt it was AI. CM so please let us Facebook players know what is happening to the game after September 30th. As the answer from my ticket was it is not possible. CM please explain to us Facebook players how we are to migrate to another platform, after Spetember 30tj when your ticket person said it is not possible.
  • A. Hello, hello, the support agent is correct, there is no way to transfer from FB to Web. But the shut down you’re mentioning is just about changing to Zero Permission structure.

    I’ve asked the team about this before, and they’re on top of this, FB version of HWDE will not be shutting down on September 30th.

15. Payment System Changes on Facebook Platform Remain Unconfirmed

  • Q. Hello, question. Does Nexters have any intention on changing the payment system on fb or is it not possible? The payment system situation has been quite infuriating for years now
  • A. Not much I know about that, so sorry to say.

16. Support Escalation Guidance for Chat Refresh Bugs

  • Q. CM i have a problem in my chat. When i write something i cant see it like it doesnt appear till i refresh the page.
    A. Hello, this should be reported to the support team, not much I can do on discord unfortunately. Have you tried reaching out to support in-game?

    Q. Never used support. Should i wait till the bug is fixed or i contact support ? And does support actually do some work or nah ?
    A. You should report it to them, they will be able to see a lot more info and look into your issue.

    Q. On Server 324 there is also a problem with the chat and the ingame Messages. They only appear if you refresh the site.
    A. what server are you folks on?
