This appears to be a one-time, large-scale unlock. A large batch of limited skins has been released at once, covering skins implemented up to January 2026 that had been available for a sufficient period of time.
This update includes Winter skins, which were previously obtainable only during the annual Winterfest, as well as Beach skins.
However, not all limited skins have been unlocked. Skins released within the last six months are excluded. For example, the double-stat skins from the Seer’s Game event are not included in this unlock.

Battle Impact

For most heroes, owning a specific skin does not drastically change overall performance. However, certain skins can have a significant impact on battle outcomes.

Dodge Skins
These are especially important when facing physical teams that do not rely on Lilia. With Winter skins now unlocked, newer players can finally obtain Dodge skins without having to wait until the end of the year.
Penetration Skins
Armor Penetration and Magic Penetration skins can strongly affect specific matchups. As a result, team compositions that were previously impractical due to skin restrictions may now become viable options.

Development Impact and Strategic Use

This is an unprecedented, large-scale unlock, and many players are likely to find themselves running short on Skin Stones.
Since the pace of skin releases may increase in the future, it is wise to conserve Skin Stones rather than spending them all immediately. Instead of upgrading skins right away, it is generally recommended to wait for events such as the Hero Tournament of Power, where Skin Stone investments can be used more efficiently.

Will Double Skins Be Unlocked in the Future?

There are indications that double-stat skins (skins with doubled stat growth) are being considered for future unlocks.
However, no official decision has been made so far, including whether they would be obtainable using Skin Stones.
In the past, some skins remained locked for over a year, so any potential unlock of double-stat skins is likely still a long way off.
