The value is based on the use of emeralds in the Artifact Chest. A study was conducted on Artifact Chest openings both before and after the introduction of Red Artifacts, with a sample size of over 10,000. When red artifacts have this value, the pre and post ratings remain highly consistent. In addition, their value is twice that of Orange artifacts. From a user’s perspective, Red artifacts may seem many times more important than Orange artifacts, but in terms of Emerald conversion, this is not the correct way to evaluate them.
