Event Guide

Special transfer restrictions are applied during both Winterfest and the Summer Festival.
The exact restriction period is announced separately for each seasonal event.
During the restriction period, server transfers are disabled and guild movements are temporarily restricted for all players.

Server Lock (Seasonal Server Transfer Restrictions)

Server transfers are disabled during the designated server lock period until all event rewards have been distributed.
This restriction applies to both paid and free transfers.
If you plan to move servers, you must do so before the lock period begins.

Why the Server Lock Is Implemented

Seasonal event rankings are tracked separately on each server. Transferring during the restriction period may cause your ranking data to be lost.
There is a delay between ranking finalization and reward distribution.
If you transfer servers before rewards have been distributed, you may lose ranking rewards—including Totems. The server lock prevents this issue.

Important Notes About Server Lock

Some players who deliberately disrupt Arena play may attempt to move to another server to avoid the consequences of their actions.
While they remain responsible for their behavior, such actions may damage their reputation across multiple guilds.
During the lock period, players cannot transfer to another server, making it impossible to avoid these consequences through a server move.

Guild Lock (Seasonal Guild Restrictions)

Leaving a guild is restricted during the designated guild lock period until all event rewards have been distributed.
This includes voluntarily leaving a guild, removing members, automatically removing inactive members, and disbanding a guild.
If you intend to switch guilds, you must do so before the lock period begins.

Why the Guild Lock Is Implemented

Seasonal events include valuable guild-based rewards and progression systems that rely on stable guild membership.
During Winterfest, players can exchange valuable gifts with guildmates.
During the Summer Festival, guild members work together to develop the shared Guild Beehive, unlocking rewards for the entire guild.
Without temporary restrictions, players could exploit these systems by frequently switching guilds or using large numbers of alternate accounts.
The guild lock helps prevent these exploits and ensures fair competition for everyone.

Considerations During the Guild Lock

Guild leaders should resolve membership issues before the lock period begins, since members cannot be removed during the restriction period.
Guilds with vacant slots are encouraged to recruit new members before the restrictions take effect.
The official Q&A also recommends filling empty guild slots before the lock begins, even if recruitment standards need to be temporarily lowered.

Seasonal Event Announcements

Hero Wars temporarily restricts server transfers and guild movements during major seasonal events to ensure fair competition and stable guild participation. Although the restrictions are similar, their purpose differs slightly between Winterfest and the Summer Festival.

Winterfest

Guild movements are temporarily restricted to maintain guild stability during the annual gift-sharing event.
Players cannot leave a guild, remove members, automatically remove inactive members, or disband a guild during the restriction period.
Players without a guild can still join one and participate in Winterfest.
Server transfers are also temporarily disabled until all event rewards have been distributed.

Summer Festival

Guild movements are temporarily restricted because guild members work together to develop the shared Guild Beehive, unlocking rewards for the entire guild.
Throughout the festival, guild members can also coordinate generator upgrades on the Mysterious Island to maximize their shared event rewards.
Players cannot leave a guild, remove members, automatically remove inactive members, or disband a guild during the restriction period.
Players without a guild can still join one and participate in the Summer Festival.
If you plan to transfer servers or move to another guild, be sure to do so before the restriction period begins.

Restriction Period

The restriction period is announced separately for each seasonal event.
Once the event ends and all rewards have been distributed, all temporary restrictions are automatically lifted.
If you plan to transfer servers or change guilds, complete those actions before the restriction period begins.
