What’s New at Summer Festival 2025?

Extended Duration: The event now runs for eight days instead of seven. Some quest content has also been adjusted.
New Items: Honey Energy, Honey Nesting Dolls, and Honey Caskets are new additions. These are completely different from similarly named items in previous years.
Summer Festival Coins:
– Now appear on the Mystery Island map
– Have been updated — old coins cannot be used in this year’s shop.
– New coins are time-limited and will automatically convert into loot boxes after the event ends.
New Skins: Solar Skins are now available for Amira and Phobos. The Phobos skin provides important stats. While not essential, additional Armor would still be beneficial for Amira.
Cosmetics Update: Additional new skins and avatar frames have been added. Some older items may also appear in the new loot boxes.
Beekeeping Farm: A new feature that unlocks on Day 2 of the event.

The drop rates and amounts of festival coins have also been adjusted. Please note that shop skins are overpriced during this event, so it’s best to avoid purchasing them.

Summer Festival Tasks & Rewards

Mystery Island Updates

The five squares on the island can now only be unlocked using Summer Festival Coins and can be opened repeatedly.
Explorer’s Moves cannot be used on these coin-based squares, but remain usable on other parts of the island.

Bugs

In Mini-Game 3, clicking the blue flower in the left field of Campaign Chapter 1 and then refreshing your browser will cause the blue flower in the upper-right area of Chapter 5 (‘Drowner’s Bridge,’ near Astalos) to disappear, rendering the mini-game unplayable.

Bug with Old Summer Festival Coins

The 2025 Summer Festival introduced a new coin and shop system, breaking continuity with previous years. As a result, players holding Summer Festival Coins from 2024 or earlier are currently unable to use them.
The developers have acknowledged this as a bug and confirmed that a fix is planned.
The issue will likely be resolved after the current event concludes. Since this year’s event operates under a new system, the delay is not expected to cause major issues.
There is a possibility that these older coins may become usable in a future Summer Festival, but expectations for this remain low at this time.

Official Message

Hey everyone, just to give you an update on Old Summer Festival Coins. We are aware of the issue and working on a fix. We will do our best to restore their functionality asap, but there is a chance we will be able to do that safely only after current Festival ends.
In any case, rest assured that soon enough you will be able to use your Old Summer Festival Coins for bying stuff from Old Summer Festival Shop (but not from the current one), just like you used to!

The Summer Festival has arrived in Dominion — time to earn awesome rewards, explore new mechanics, and unlock brand-new Solar Skins for both Amira (Armor) and Phobos (Magic Penetration)!
Explore NEW Mysterious Island Map and don’t miss NEW festive feature – TOMORROW, the new Resource-Generating Hives will be unlocked! Discover and upgrade special Beehive Island Map Tiles that generate resources over time. Collect Honey and New Summer Festival Coins, invest them to upgrade your Hives, and unlock even greater rewards as you go!
Complete quests to earn Explorer’s Moves, collect Honey, and use it in the Beehive to earn sweet rewards along with the NEW Summer Festival Coins that you can trade in the Festival Shop or to upgrade Hives!
And a few important notes before you grab your gift and disappear:
– If your Hive’s resource-generation cycle ends after the festival ends, you will still receive your rewards!
– If you upgrade your Hive during the resource-generation cycle, you will get the current cycle reward and start the next cycle.
– All unused Honey and Summer Festival Coins will be exchanged for Event Boxes shortly after the event ends on August 1, 2 AM UTC: 440 Honey = 1 Event Box; 1 Summer Festival Coin = 10 Event Boxes.

1. The old Summer Festival shop has been removed

Q. Hope they bring the shop back!

2. Summer Festival rewards have been nerfed

Q. They kept the drop rate miserable but still increased the price.
A. The amount of honey you can earn this year is significantly higher.

For example, last year the energy-spending quest line provided 2,900 units of honey.
This year, it gives 23,005 units of honey.

3. Amount of honey gifts

Q. Does your free gift department not know that the honey needed to spin 1x has been increased this year from 250 to 330?

Maybe should update the department so that they know they are supposed to give out 330 if they intend to give us free 1 spin.
A. Although the number 330 may seem logical – as that’s exactly the cost of using one spin – the calculation of the ‘freebies’ was based on the total amount of free honey that can be obtained during the Summer Festival. So the 250 units are a deliberate choice made by the game designers.

4. Summer Festival coin drop rate is the same as in past years

Q. “The amount of honey you can earn this year is significantly higher.”

That’s insulting our intelligence, we can all see that the drop rate for coins has dropped drastically to compensate for the extra honey and that the cost of items per coin has improved greatly. Things actually cost more and are harder to get, rather than the other way around which you are suggesting
A. Drop rates remain unchanged compared to last year.

Note: The coin drop rate itself likely remains unchanged from last year.

However, due to changes in BLP specifications, cases where the feature malfunctions or fails to trigger properly are having a noticeable impact in certain scenarios.

5. Is the Summer Festival BLP not functioning?

and 2 chaos cores is such a joke of lucky dip prize
A. How many coins did you get last year when not even a single day of the event had passed?

Q. Do you really think we’re that stupid? People don’t realize what you’ve ruined at the summer event. Look at the YouTube channels, the looks of disappointment and almost inability to explain what kind of event this is. On top of that, I see you defending the event’s drop rate. It seems like you’re here to hurt us and, more importantly, try to steal from us. Think carefully before defending this garbage event you created.
A. Let’s not cross the line into toxicity by accusing me of hostile actions. The last things I’m interested in is ‘stealing’ anything or ‘hurting‘. On the contrary, I’m sharing information with you.

6. Add a “Open 10 Times” button to the Summer Festival

Q. Please add “Open 10” “Open 50”
300 clicks will take 7 days
A. One of our developers ended up in the emergency room with a numb finger after pressing that button countless times!
So yes, we’ve noted that the current solution wasn’t the most convenient, and the developers will consider upgrading it next time.

7. Hives rewards are based on the amount started before the event ends

Q. Hi, CMs.
With the multiplication of 2 3 4 6 hours, we will not be able to get the last reward just before the summerfest event ends 6 days later, if we start the hive investment right the second when it becomes available (which many of us will do to maximize reward)….
As 24 hours a day is divisible with 2 3 4 6 hours (each duration of farming )

This is a bit too bad, can you implement the counter to close count like a bit later so that we can get that last reward before the event ends?
A. If you find yourself in a situation where the hive timer ends after the festival has concluded, you will still receive the resource for that final timing.

8. No need to click the Hives facility each time

Q. Do the generators accumulate resources on their own or will players have to collect the rewards every 2/3/4/6 hours?
A. Accumulate
Q. so I’ll receive a mail every 4 hours with the reward, is that correct?
A. The resource will accumulate in the hive, and all accumulated resources can be collected with a single click. If you miss the end of the event, all uncollected resources will be sent to you via mail.

9. Hives rewards can be claimed via in-game mail

Q. Or more specifically, if you set the max generator and then forget to interact with it, do all the generated Emeralds get mailed to you at the end?
A. Yes

10. The Hives facility runs continuously during the Summer Festival

Q. Thanks for your info regarding the hives, that at least more info than in the news, but still 2 important infos are missing:
– Do I understand it right that you need each level separately? So for example, for level 5, you need in sum 15 coins and 4500 honey and not “only” 5 coins and 3000 honey, correct?
– For how long does “every x hours” mean? For the rest of the Summer Fest? Or only for – no idea – 24 hours or something like this?
A. I listed the cost for each upgrade level, so yes, that’s correct – to max out the generator you’ll need 15 coins and 4500 honey.

Generators will run from the moment you activate them until the end of the event.
