[Hero Wars Guide]Way to incapacitate a 1-turn Seba in 10 seconds

Hero Combat Guide

Why Use 1-Turn Seba?

  • One of the main benefits of using 1-Turn Seba is to prevent Lara Croft‘s devastating Stun.
  • Lara Croft’s Stun activates incredibly quickly-if Sebastian activates his debuff block after turn 2, it’s often too late to stop it.
  • You might think, “It’s just one stun,” but with Mara‘s Patron effect, that single stun can be enough to secure victory for fast attack teams. That’s why it’s important to have a counter.

Can you counter 1-Turn Sebastian?

  • Does 1-Turn Sebas always shut down Lara Croft? In general, yes.
But there are ways around it.
  • For example, the guild DASHIMAKI-TAMAGO uses a strategy that includes both Biscuit and Vex as patrons for their fast attack teams.
  • This dual-patron setup forces Sebastian to burn through his 15 debuff blocks before Lara’s stun kicks in.

Note

  • This does not mean that you will win every time.
  • It’s just a fact that this type of counter is possible.
  • Whether you’re on offense or defense, using 1-Turn Sebastian is a standard way to shut down Lara Croft’s Stun.
  • However, there are situations where this tactic can be reversed.
  • Knowing that such counter-strategies exist gives you an advantage.

That’s the purpose of this article – to show you how to use them.

Combat Example

Against Nebula Tank Formation Let’s look at a battle scenario using a popular CoW buff-based defense with a Nebula tank formation.

Debuff Blocks Trigger at 4 Seconds

  • Sebastian activates his debuff block just 4 seconds into the fight.
  • Combo Breakdown: Keira + Vex and Ninja Turtles + Biscuit combinations begin applying multiple debuffs. This attack chain quickly uses up all 15 stacks of Sebastian’s debuff block.

Stun Landing at 10 Seconds

  • At the 10 second mark, Lara Croft’s fast-acting stun is triggered.
  • By this time, Sebastian’s defenses have been neutralized and the entire enemy team is stunned.

Battle ends in 17 seconds

  • With the stun landing cleanly, the defending team can’t respond effectively.
  • The formation collapses, and the battle ends in just 17 seconds.

Debuffing, and Debuff Prevention

  • Successfully applying debuffs is a key strategy for building a strong offensive team in Hero Wars.
  • Conversely, effectively countering debuffs is crucial to a solid defensive strategy.
  • There are several Heroes that help mitigate debuffs – Sebastian and Khorus are two of the most notable, each with their own unique mechanics. This article will focus on one specific method: how to attack teams that rely on Sebastian’s debuff removal.
