  • This month, the stars seem a little closer, emotions a little stronger, and the winds from the East carry a festive touch.
  • Expect regular events, competitive challenges, and a few surprises scattered throughout February! 

Water Titan Tidus: Implementation Overview

As with previous Summoner-class Titans, the Water Totem can be activated once two Water Titans are available in the lineup.

  • Pre-order start: February 10
  • Event start: February 17
  • Scheduling note: Tidus’s implementation is scheduled to coincide with the Titan Power Tournament, making this a particularly high-stakes period for Titan progression.

Is Tidus a Must-Have Titan?

Newly introduced Summoner-class Titans inherently carry value due to their role in Totem activation. However, this alone does not automatically make Tidus an essential acquisition. The overall value depends largely on the existing Titan roster and long-term progression goals.

Meta Outlook:
  • Tier placement: At first glance, Tidus appears to sit one tier below the so-called “Super Titans,” which remain the only universally mandatory units.
  • Vadluk vs. Asherona comparison: In the current meta, the Earth Titan Vadluk is a high-priority, meta-defining presence. By contrast, the Fire Titan Asherona has seen relatively limited demand since implementation.
  • Provisional verdict: Whether Tidus ultimately becomes a staple on the level of Vadluk or remains a situational option like Asherona will only become clear after live implementation.

Official Message: Water Titan Summoner Is Coming!

  • Something is shifting in the depths of Dominion… A calm surface, a gathering tide — looks like Tidus is ready to bring the power of Water onto the battlefield!
  • Tidus is a summoner who reveals the hidden potential of others. He doesn’t rush the fight. He reshapes it, turning precise strikes into decisive moments and allowing devastating blows to reach their full force. Where single, powerful attacks once lacked support, the tide now carries them forward.
  • Early access is coming soon! Tidus’s pre-order will be available starting February 10, 2 AM UTC.

Scheduled Release of Vardock’s Soul Stones

  • When two new Titans are introduced, it is standard practice for the Soul Stones of a previously released Titan to become available during the implementation event of the second Titan.
  • In Vardock’s case, the introduction of Asherona and Tidus fulfills this condition. As a result, Vardock’s Soul Stones are expected to be released during Tidus’s implementation event.
  • Release Date: According to the current schedule, Vardock’s Soul Stones will become available on February 17.

1. How Skill Animations Can Temporarily Shift Tank Positioning During Combat

  • Q. CM is this normal & intended behavior or a bad conception ? sometimes after a hero is killed, one hero will take a small step forward and get tank position instead of the initial one, here ishmael after killing lyria is tanking lara’s basic attack instead of allied lyria because he has done that small step forward ( and maybe also because allied lyria is stuck in her animation ? we can see lyria moving a bit forward too after ish but too late, ish died in that fraction of second ) , it’s not the first time i notice these small movements changing the tanking role, sometimes it happens at the start of the fight when heroes are walking and placing themselves and who ever get that kind of little movement, will have his initial attack order delayed a little
  • A. Checked with the team, and in your example when Lyria is killed Ishmael becomes the closest valid target for Lara’s attack, so he briefly steps forward and takes the hit. Meanwhile, the allied Lyria is still finishing her skill animation and only moves into position later

2. Feedback and Improvement Request Regarding Event Shops Closing Immediately After Events

  • Q. I really hate the Shop not staying open the extra 24hrs.
    It is lazy and pointless and there is no good excuse for closing it so soon.
    Obviously, a lot of people would just like the extra time to decide on what to buy.
    And to able to make that decision when the Fluffy event is over, and they’re not as busy.
    Personally, right now, I want to sleep. So I have to choose risking not turning in all my energy to get medalions so I can make more progress if I wake in time.
    Or risk just waking up too late and having it auto-converted.
    But I might not be able to sleep, and then I don’t have energy left to play with.
    I have 3 ALTs, so it’s not that easy to finish everything and I haven’t.

    I might lose an entire chapter just because they were too lazy. And they’ve lost money on me before because I cashed in early due to the early store closings.
    But again, I suspect more people would just like the extra time to pick what they want to buy. (I ended up just spamming Chaos Particles for the most part.)
  • A. Thanks for explaining it in detail. I’ll pass this along to the team so they’re aware that some players would prefer more flexibility here, even if no changes are planned right now.

3. Request to Keep Hero and Titan Event Shops Open for 24 Hours After Event End

  • Q. > For these hero/titan introduction events please have the event shop open for 24 hours after the event like other events are handled.

4. Why the Great Storm Event Is Not Scheduled in February

  • Q. I just noticed that there is no Great Storm event this month. Is this permanent or just because February is short and Weaving Patterns was moved 2 days forward – on Great Storms usual date?

5. How to Obtain the New Barrier Patterns and When More Information Will Be Released

    Found this in a current vs. max CoW Combat Training.

  • A. You did not miss an announcement, I can’t reveal any details yet, but soon (ish) you’ll see more.

6. When Verdoc Soul Stones Will Be Added to the Summoning Circle

  • Q. Hello, when will verdoc soul stones appear for summoning? Like which week of feb?
  • A. Good question! While I can’t reveal the exact date, I can explain a bit in terms of how it generally works. A Titan unlocks after two subsequent Titan releases. More specifically, the unlock happens at the start of its Adventure.

7. Expected Titan Release Pace and Unlock Schedule Over the Coming Months

  • Q. We can ask as many times as we want, harsh language or friendly, but it seems pretty clear it’s not coming back.
    I wonder if a suggestion to bring it back for fewer emeralds (given the options for obtaining Totems have increased) might open the possibility.
    We’ve had many complaints since I started (a bit over 2 years now) about not knowing when newer game elements would become more available. The specified timing for new heroes, and now new titans, to become available is a nice development for improving predictability. Hopefully we can get more of these fixed schedules for such releases.
    All those Skin releases were also a pleasant surprise (especially the Summer and Winter Skins that I had expected would remain locked to the Fests forever).
    CM one concern – new heroes are pretty regular. Does the “two Titans later” model indicate that we can expect a similarly steady stream of new Titans? If not, the Light and Dark summoners could remain unavailable for a long time.
  • A. You can expect titan release schedule to be similar to what it is now, at least for the next few month.

8. Request to Update Totem Transfer Rules for Players with Maxed Totems

  • Q. Hey you all. Would it be possible to change 2 things ? First of all, it would be nice to be able to transfer Totem Fragments when you have completed all totems. Second of all it would be really nice to be able to transfer Totem Spheres to any players. Also to those that have max Totems.
    For example. I have all Totems max and also everything Rank5. (Gold) It would be nice to help other players by gifting them my totems, so that they can exchange them and try to get better ranks on their totems. Since it is already possible to transfer totemspheres to players with non max totems, it would be of great help to be able to support guildmates with this.
  • A. Thank you for the suggestion, I understand it would be nice to have that as an option. I will pass this along!

9. Request for a Recursive “Open All” Option for Matryoshka-Style Items

  • Q. A reminder request, that we desperately need an option to open ALL matryoshka-style items (demon dolls (which have at least 10 sub-types), Adventure chests, Storm Legacy chests, Titan artifact chests, etc.) recursively. This could be a simple tick box, where we choose whether we only want to open existing items, or also their recursive ones.
    Just today I got a bunch of these, and again I have to click a million times to really use all of them.
    And also, instead of giving us Random Crystal and Insignias in our inventories, please just give us the real resources directly. It’s just a bunch of totally pointless extra clicks that we have to do almost every day.
    PS: Please thank the devs for adding the ‘Current Total Hero Power’ vs. ‘Max. historic Total Hero Power’ distinction. Small change, but very helpful for ToP

10. Request for a Combat Training Mode to Test Osh and Maestro Battles

  • Q. I really want them to know that we have been asking and very much need a way to test osh and maestro battles so we can practice these fights and test heroes for them in some way.
    Its not really possible for us to get very good at these fights when you can only do them 2 times a month each…. and its not possible to test many team combinations either. Most people who do that use simulators and all kinds of stuff, would be very nice to have this in-game, i dont want to use some shady sites.
  • A. Good suggestion, I have seen this before and make sure to add it to our QoL requests.

11. Are There Plans to Expand Guild Flag Design Options?

  • Q. CM do u think they will ever add new design options to the guild flags ( more guild flag symbols/ colors to choose from)?
  • A. Can’t say anything at the moment, but I do remember seeing similar feedback

12. Issue With Receiving the Discord Membership Reward (Boxy Gift)

  • Q. Hi, I like to get Boxy’s gift for joining Discord. But the callback URL says: route not found.
  • A. I’ve forwarded it to our team, hopefully we can fix this soon.

13. Whether Game Progress Can Be Recovered After a Facebook Account Is Disabled

  • Q. Hi CM, My Facebook was permanently disabled, and I’ve lost access to my Level 130 account (ID: xxxxxxxx).
    This account represents over a year of daily dedication. I have a main team with 900k+ power, active Golden Raid tickets, and I’ve participated in every single event. It would be devastating to lose all this progress due to a login provider issue. I have already provided 10 ownership proofs in my ticket. Could you please help with a manual transfer to my new Facebook account so I can continue my journey in Hero Wars? Thank you so much for your support!
  • A. Hello, it’s better to handle cases like this with our support team, but generally if it’s connected to your FB account, you need to try and recover it with FB support.
  • Q. CM, thank you for your reply. I have already tried everything with Facebook support, but my account is permanently disabled because my ID card name didn’t match my nickname on the profile. Meta has closed the case and I can no longer request another review.
    This is why I am requesting a manual transfer within the same platform (Facebook). I have provided 10 solid proofs of ownership in ticket #XXXXXXX, including my Level 130 stats and 900k+ power team.
    I am a very loyal player with active Golden Raid tickets. Since Facebook access is gone forever, I beg you to help me manually move my progress to a new Facebook ID so I don’t lose my 1 year of hard work. Please, I just need a manual fix from your technical team.
  • A. If our support can’t do it, there is not much else possible to do I’m afraid. I’m genuinely so sorry that you’re going though this.
