1. Community Site Link Issue Has Been Fixed

  • Q. UPDATE To the Update: A moderator said it was fixed, but the link is still broken over 11 hours later. So I just restored this post.
    Warning:
    Nexters messed up again.
    This wasn’t the first time they posted a broken link, but this time it can waste a moderate amount of your time (and possibly your privacy.)
    The link is broken. The real URL is what is shown, which you can CUT and PASTE into the browser to see the results.
    But the link it does to if you CLICK is wrong. If you just click it, it will tell you to create an account at box.com which is a waste of your time, and might just nibble a little bit more away with your privacy when you create an account you don’t actually need.
    I’ve been told that logging doesn’t even work, because it’s a broken link and there is nothing there. But you need to login or create an account to find out you’ve wasted your time.

    CMsThis is a known issue, some locales got mixed up, the team is aware and it should be fixed soon-ish – Broken links on those News and Gifts pages is pretty common, although this is different from the ones that just don’t work. Would it be to very difficult to TEST THE LINKS before posting? I mean, isn’t several hundred millions of dollars in PROFIT enough to pay someone to spend a few seconds doing that, rather than relying on the community to test the links for you?
    Also, since the link is still broken when I reload it over 11 hours later, I don’t think I should have been warned about posting this warning to #general as well as here. People should be allowed to know. I was also told by a moderator that one post to each of two channels was fine for trying to get stuff to starboard.
  • A. Hello, I fixed the link on all platforms yesterday, but for some reason the embed on the community website didn’t update, we’ve fixed that now.

2. Cosmic Battle Scheduled to Start on April 8

  • A. Also a good time to note – Cosmic Battle will last 4 days (same as previously), on the 7th the ban phase will start, and the event itself will begin on the 8th

3. Ban Phase Likely to Reset This Time

  • Q. Will the ban phase start anew? The heroes banned in the previous Cosmic Battle are usually exempt from the current ban phase, but it has been a long time since the last one
  • A. Good question, let me check. I think it’s new, but I will double check

4. Opponent Chat Feature Suggested for Tournament of Power

  • Q. I have an idea for tournament events in Hero Wars—right now the leaderboard competitions are fun but they feel a bit isolated since you’re just racing against numbers. It would be really cool if the players had some kind of chat or interaction, just to add a bit of fun and personality to the competition. I think it could make the event feel more alive, create some friendly rivalry, and keep players more engaged while they’re pushing their hero power. Just thought it could be a nice improvement without changing the core gameplay.
  • A. I like that, I’m not sure how hard/feasable it would be, but I will pass it along!

5. Summoner Availability in Titan Events Still Under Consideration

    I’ve passed the feedback along but I’ve answered this on some time ago and there’s no update or timeline at this moment.

6. Suggestion to Update Totem Sphere Icons in Help Content

7. UX Improvement Requested for Legacy Artifact Chests

  • Q. i call these internally the ‘trick-me-into-taking-crap-reward-boxes’ or ‘worst-user-experience-ever-boxes’, because i have to do so many clicks to get the golden materials which can be exchanged for lower colors at an even better rate than directly from the box.
    CM can we please get rid of these and you just give us 8 golden artifact materials of each kind? i cant see why you would do UX QoL improvements but keep these as rewards from the guild prestige quests.

8. Elemental Synergy Rewards Currently Under Discussion

  • Q. Actually, lets ask why are we making Elemental Synergy event worse again?
    They changed it last year to this lucky coin gambling version, ppl already hate it bcs of that (but it was actually an ok event).
    We already had weak rewards in that version of the event – mainly crown artifact chests, seal artifact chests and gold (for most of the players). On top of that, GP versions of essences, potions and titan skinstones are the same amount -> essences GP is worse than titan potions GP and even worse than titan skinstones GP.
    But this month they added 4 new rewards (and will probably be adding 2 additional ones per new titan) which are diluting reward pool and making it even worse:
    100 summoners seals GP … compare it to 100 seal chests GP,
    100 weapon artifact fragments GP … just compare it to 20k ToE coins GP … (you can buy over 1.5k wpn or crown fragments for it, image under),
    and ridiculously small amount of catalysts.
    All in all, they already made these titans (soulstones + artifacts) exclusive once – during their release events – and made us wait 6 months for them to be somewhat accessible. Why are they now thinking its a good idea to add more obstacles for us to obtain them while pretending like these weapon and seal artifacts deserve to be several times more expensive and harder to get than those for original titans.
    Edit: Adding suggestions what to do with Summoner titans’ artifacts so everyone is happy while you still earn some money out of it:
    • New titan artifact daily free/purchase track you just added should help with the money part
    • Soulstones are ok, we can wait 6 months for them but at the same time it would be nice to add artifact weapons not only to altar but to ToE merchant too (make them twice or thrice more expensive if you must)
    • Create new Summoner’s seal chest and add it to titan event shops + Titan Resource Chest (titan ToP reward)
    • Remove Summoner titans’ artifact fragments from Elemental Synergy reward pool … its a really bad look

    We’ve recenly discussed some of the points you brought up here and internally (when it comes to adding titan souls and artefact weapons), but it’s good to see it well outlined. I will make sure it reaches the team.

9. Language Display Bug on Lucky Road to Be Fixed

11. Improvement Suggested for Guild Quest “Collect All” Feature

  • Q. I wish this ‘Collect all’ would really collect all quests, and not just those in the first next level.
    Could the devs make this small change and save us a bunch of daily clicks? It’s cool to have new content, but these days it’s getting harder and harder to keep up with all the dailies. We need a way to keep that managable

12. ToE Matchmaking Issues Reported

  • Q. CM please tell the devs they have broken ToE again, for about the last week my team on 270 which has only 1 and 2 star totems with rank 1 skills keeps getting paired against teams with ultimate totems sporting rank 4 and 5 skills in the early rounds. This has been an off and on problem ever since the power lvl rejig which gave now useless 1st and 2nd artifacts much more points than their worth.

13. Server Transfer to Newer Servers Considered Unlikely

  • Q. Why the devs don’t enable the transfer to newer server, let’s say at 50 numbers above at max ?
    I know that at the moment only a transfer to older server is possible but, maybe some servers younger wouldn’t be bad 🤷🏻‍♂️

14. Recovery of Frozen Facebook Accounts Not Possible

  • Q. CM Is it possible to recover a Hero Wars account from Facebook after it has been blocked by Facebook and then transfer the account to another (new) Facebook account from the old one that was blocked by Facebook? The account was blocked for political comments. This is exactly what happened to one of our guild members with a 3-year-old account.
