Official Message: January events & Tournament of Power!

  • January arrives in Dominion. A new month means a new schedule, and while January is quieter than the holiday season, you’ll still see regular activities and occasional small surprises along the way!
  • Tournament of Hero Power is also on — upgrade your Heroes and complete event quests to earn Tournament Points and great rewards!
  • Nature and Silver Seasons are active too — complete tasks, gain experience, and collect valuable rewards. Tickets unlock even more loot and can be gifted to guildmates!

Emerald City Returns to the Game

Originally introduced as a featured event during CyberCon 2025, Emerald City will return to the game on the 27th.

Event Overview

This is a seasonal emerald-spending event, and its reward lineup has been updated from the previous version.

  • Key Rewards: Notably, the Cascade Star Skin is included among the rewards.
  • Spending Strategy: If you plan to spend emeralds during the Fluffy Event, it may be worth coordinating your spending with Emerald City to maximize overall value.

Critical Reception

The timing of this announcement may draw criticism. Launching Emerald City in the middle of the Fluffy Event without prior notice feels abrupt, and many players are likely to view this as a “guerrilla-style” release. This could be particularly frustrating for players who have already spent their emeralds.

1. Fluffy Upgrade Pop-up Feedback and CM Response

  • Q. Can we please stop the Fluffy upgrade pop up when we login?
    I’m already dreading seeing this for the next 6 days.
  • A. Thank you for your feedback.
    There has already been a request to see if we can implement a “do not show this for 24 hours” setting for such reminders.
    I’ve passed this on to the team to see if it’s something they can look into.

2. Fluffy Quest Frame Issue Confirmed and Resolved

  • Q. What? Same frame?
  • A. Hello everyone. Sorry for the inconvenience.
    I’m happy to report that both the frame and shop issues have been resolved.

3. Positive Feedback on Smaller Fluffy Island

  • A. As far as I know, there is no limit here.

  • Q. Will the Lara Croft soul stone heroic bundles be resold periodically?
  • A. I don’t have that information. I’m sorry.

  • Q. Will there be another Ninja Turtles event for players who missed the first one?
  • A. At this time, there are no plans for that.

7. Post-Event Availability of Splinter Chests

  • Q. Hello. The event sale is ending, will purchased items still be usable after that? Thank you.
  • A. They should still be available after the event ends.

8. Soul Atrium Rules Explained for New Hero Releases

  • Q. There seems to be a serious communication problem between the development team and the PR team.
    While some new elements like Goose being added to the Soul Atrium are implemented without announcement, others that were announced (Mairi’s mechanical skin) have not been implemented.
    I believe these issues are part of poor customer support and are currently the game’s biggest drawback.
  • A. I believe I’ve explained this before, but let me clarify again just in case.
    As a basic rule going forward, every time a new hero is released, one recently implemented hero not yet in the Atrium will be added.
    At the same time, one hero already in the Soul Atrium will be downgraded from “Grand Prize” to the “Very Rare” slot.
    Since this will be the standard operation for future hero releases, we will not make individual announcements every time.
    I hope this helps clarify the mechanism.

9. Status Check on Augustus Soul Stone Chest Availability

  • Q. CM, regarding the Soul Atrium explanation, shouldn’t Augustus have been added to the Hero Soul Stone chests when Goose was added as a Grand Prize?
    Currently, that’s not the case.
  • A. That’s a good question. I’ll check on that and provide an update later.

10. How Soul Stone Release Timing Is Normally Determined

  • Q. Isn’t the addition of Augustus to the soul stone chests quite overdue? He’s been in Dominion for a year, and Polaris was added to the soul stone chests even while remaining a Grand Prize.
    Given that, it should be about time for Augustus as well, at least now. Thank you.
  • A. My understanding is that Polaris was the only exception in this flow.
    And now that she has moved to a different category, Augustus will follow the logic initially explained as soon as the next hero is added.

11. Augustus Soul Stones Expected After Next New Hero Release

  • Q. When will Augustus soul stones be added to the soul stone chests?
  • A. Yes, I promised to check on this.
    This time, it was Polaris who moved from Grand Prize to Legendary, and Augustus will be next.
    The logic explained above remains unchanged.
    I hope this clarifies the situation.

12. Seer’s Game Skins May Become Obtainable via In-Game Resources

  • Q. Is there a possibility that the double skins in Seer’s Game will be available for purchase with skin stones in the future?
    Or will they always be limited to the casino-style Seer’s Game or only available through direct purchase?
  • A. Good question. This is something being discussed internally, and there’s a possibility they may become available for in-game resources (though not necessarily skin stones) in the future.
    However, no final decision or implementation timing has been set yet.
    For now, they remain tied to the Seer’s Game, but we hear your feedback and recognize it as an issue.

13. Mairi Mechanical Skin Mentioned by Mistake, Confirmed as Future Content

  • Q. It seems the mechanical skin doesn’t exist on the Web version.
  • A. Hello everyone!
    Regarding the Mairi skin issue, it was a simple mistake on the CM side. My apologies.
    However, it ended up being a bit of a “teaser” for what’s planned for the future.
    To avoid further confusion, we plan to go back and correct (remove) all related posts.

14. Official Clarification Pending on Mairi’s Gender

  • Q. This isn’t a major issue, but I’m curious. Is Mairi officially female now?
  • A. Gender is a social construct, especially for Titans 😉
    Jokes aside, Titan lore is a bit complex, so I’ll share this with the development team and check.

15. Sylva Bug Identified and Fixed

  • Q. I don’t have an issue with changes or adjustments existing.
    The problem is that there was no explanation of what changed, no prior notice, and it happened suddenly in the middle of Guild War (GW).
    Is the Community Manager online right now?
    The online indicator (green light) is on, so why is there no explanation?
  • A. I’ll address this here as it was also discussed during the previous Sylva issue.
    This wasn’t an intended update or balance adjustment.
    It was a bug that occurred during a routine update. Unfortunately, these things happen sometimes. I’m truly sorry.
    Fortunately, the issue was identified and fixed relatively quickly.
    I understand the frustration and inconvenience caused when things happen without notice. We will continue working to minimize such situations.

16. Additional Data-Tracking Added to Investigate ToE Ranking Issues

  • Q. Yes. Again. The maximum points you can get in a day should be 17100…
  • A. Unfortunately, the Elemental Tournament ranking bug has proven to be a more complex and multi-layered issue than initially thought.
    We are still actively investigating and have introduced additional data tracking to pinpoint exactly where the calculations are going wrong.
    Thank you for reporting this and for your patience during the investigation. We will share more as soon as we know.

17. Investigation Ongoing Into Incorrect #1 Rewards in ToE

  • Q. Thanks for the CM response.
    But last time, because of that “bug” or “cheating,” that player got the #1 reward!!
    And you (CM) said “it’s just a visual bug.”
  • A. As mentioned, it’s under investigation.
    We’ll share more with you as soon as there’s progress.

18. ToE Scoring Issues Still Under Investigation

  • Q. I want a promise that cheaters won’t take the #1 ToE reward, unlike when the CM called it a “visual-only bug” before.
  • A. Like I said, it’s under investigation. The issue is much more complex than expected. The team is working on it, so we should have an update soon.

19. Why ToE Rewards Differ Between Facebook and Web Platforms

  • Q. Why are Facebook ToE rewards sooooo much higher than Web? (100k, 75k, etc.) vs (10k, 5k, etc.)???
  • A. Different platforms have different rewards due to differences in player count and engagement levels.

20. Background of ToE Reward Differences Still Being Reviewed

  • Q. What do you mean “different player counts”? I think Web has many more players? If so, Web rewards should be higher?
    I’d understand if:
    • 1. Facebook had a much larger base when rewards were designed and they haven’t been adjusted since (might be reviewed).
    • 2. Facebook doesn’t give rewards past rank 1000, so the total emeralds distributed are ultimately the same across platforms.
  • A. I’ll double-check this later. ToE prizes were set long before I joined, and I need more background to answer properly.
    My initial understanding was that rewards vary by platform for various reasons, including player count and engagement. I’ll see if I can provide more information.

21. No Current Plans for Official Patch Notes or Change Logs

  • Q. Given the recent surge in serious bugs affecting core Titan combat mechanics, I’d like to issue a strong, urgent request from the community.
    Please publish:
    Game Change Logs
    Release Notes
    Patch Notes
    or a Readme.
    (This aligns with ISO / IEC 25010 standards).
    Maintaining change logs is a healthy software development practice established for decades.
    Specifically, “recording deployed changes in a log” should be part of the Definition of Done (DoD). If you don’t know how, I’m available for free consulting.
  • A. I understand where this request is coming from, especially given recent glitches.
    However, not all deployments or fixes qualify as feature additions or specification changes.
    Much of what you see are hotfixes, technical updates, or event-related updates that don’t necessarily change the gameplay itself.
    The Sylva energy bug was exactly such a case.

22. Request to Schedule Major Updates Outside Competitive Modes

  • Q. Hi CM, thanks for the update.
    But could these major changes be done on Sundays (no GW or CoW)?
    As an IT consultant, major changes are usually scheduled for weekends to minimize impact if bugs appear.
    I was literally attacking in GW (a hero fight).
    I tested, fought manually, and saw all enemy heroes die.
    Instead of the result screen, I got a 12/20 result and a pop-up.
    Now a full-gauge Dante remains in a nearly captured node, making a follow-up attack difficult.
  • A. As mentioned, this has been discussed quite a bit, so I won’t go too deep.
    However, in principle, I agree; avoiding updates during major game modes is a very reasonable idea.
    But our game almost always has an event running, meaning there’s effectively no downtime.
    Also, the team has a normal work schedule, and it’s difficult to assume they can always be available on weekends.
    Using the Sylva bug as an example, if it happened on a weekend, a fix that took hours might have taken days.

23. Developer Response on Monetization, Game Quality, and Player Trust

  • Q. Honestly, the only reason I still play is the close friends I’ve made here.
    But on the other hand, Nexters’ excessive money-grabbing over the last few years is causing me to lose many dear friends.
    I feel game quality is being sacrificed as monetization intensifies.
  • A. I understand your feelings.
    The balance between new content, monetization, and overall game direction is something we discuss frequently.
    Finding the right balance isn’t easy, but please know we don’t take it lightly.

24. No Current Roadmap, but Future Communication Improvements Discussed

  • Q. It’s honestly chilling how bad communication from the dev team to the CM still is. It feels like they lack a customer-oriented mindset.
    How can we trust the future of this game?
    I pay every month to stay at the top. I need trust that there’s long-term value.
    Currently, I see no improvement in Dev -> CM -> Player communication.
    Worse, Player -> CM -> Dev communication needs to improve too. Feedback should be taken seriously.
    In 2025, we at least had a roadmap for the first half. 2026 feels like 2024 again—no roadmap, no outlook.
  • A. I understand your concerns. Communication between players, CMs, and the dev team is a topic we constantly discuss and work to improve.
    Many pieces of feedback are delivered both ways; while not all lead to immediate changes, they aren’t ignored.
    Regarding the roadmap, thank you for your interest. It’s encouraging that you care about long-term plans. I can’t promise anything right now, but we are considering it and may resume it in the future.

25. Comprehensive Player Requests for Quality of Life Improvements

  • Q. Hello. Are the following improvements still being considered?
    • 1. Daily Quest: Buy 180 items in a shop
      Clicking 180 times in the ToE shop is a nightmare. Add 1 / 10 / 100 buttons.
    • 2. Hero Filter by Role
      It’s hard to find specific heroes in training. Add role filters.
    • 3. Combat Training
      3.1 Filters for “My tests”, specific users, or buildings.
      It’s hard to find specific tests for CoW.
      3.2 Add training buttons to GW/Arena.
      3.3 Auto-apply flags/totems in training by default.
      3.4 Group duplicate logs when changing team comps from CoW training.
    • 4. Gacha Opening
      Thanks for the 1 / 10 / 100 buttons.
      But clicking “OK” 10 times for 100 items is tedious 🙁
    • 5. Battle Logs
      Show flags, patterns, and totem skills.
    • 6. CoW (Clash of Worlds)
      Draws are common in the Top 100. Small score differences (7500-7051 vs 7500-7500) are frustrating.
      Add a bonus for unused attacks at 7,500.
      Plan A: Add unused attacks to final score.
      Plan B: Add points (e.g., 5pt/attack).
      Please reward good performance.

26. Suggestion to Use Community Polls for QoL Prioritization

  • Q. There are dozens of QoL requests.
    Could the dev team provide a “feasible list” and have the CM run a community vote to prioritize them based on user preference?
  • A. While diving deep into internal processes is beyond my role, I think your point is valid.
    We regularly collect QoL requests for the dev team.
    The idea of voting for priorities is interesting, so I’ll suggest it to the team.

27. Request for an “Invite Only” Guild Setting

  • Q. Are there plans for an “Invite Only” setting for guilds?
    We want to prevent random players from joining.
  • A. Good point. Noted, I’ll share it with the team!
