Team OverView

This section covers the Qing Mao tanks that are trending in 2024. (While there have been variations of Qing Mao tanks in the past, this explanation focuses on the specific Qing Mao tank that is currently trending in the current environment.)

Designed as a counter to the Amira and Heidi teams.
Features Qing Mao as a tank optimized for use with Lara Croft.
Lara Croft is a strong physical DPS hero who excels at speed but struggles with armor penetration.
To combine her speed with effective armor penetration, Qing Mao or Tristan are ideal solutions.
This ultra-rapid attack formation aims to wipe out the opposing team in about 20 seconds, making it exhilarating to use!

Defensive Formation

Can be used in defensive teams. It is especially good as a first killer. In the Area of Conquest, it was used in 32-point defenses, and in a showdown between top guilds, it set a record of 15 consecutive defenses.
As of Summer 2024, both offensive and defensive strategies are still being explored, and a definitive template for these formations has yet to be established.
If you use a lot of them in guild fights or CoW defenses, you can try to get people who are not good at Hero Battles not to attack. If they decide they don’t know how to attack, so it’s a crapshoot with the Dante tanks for now, they’ll be right on target.

Replacing Lara Croft

Lara Croft is only available for a limited time through a cooperation event.
If you need to replace her, Daredevil or Artemis can be used, although both are inferior to Lara in overall potential. For this reason, as a defensive team, it is more vulnerable to attack, making substitutions difficult.
Lara Croft is not essential to attack teams, and there are several ways to use her.

Sebastian’s impact

To maximize the effectiveness of this formation, a one-turn Seba is crucial.
“One-turn Seba” refers to Sebastian’s skill activation at the beginning of the battle, on the first turn.
However, Sebastian is not always necessary. In some cases, Nebula can be used as a substitute.

Healer Concept

Typically, one slot is reserved for a healer.
Aidan, who increases the durability of Ching Mao, or Thea, who counters Amira, are easy to pair with this team.
A fast-attacking team needs an appropriate healer. Including Martha, who is slower, can easily lead to defeat.

Team Pet’s approach

Axel: The default choice; if you’re unsure, go with Axel.
Fenris: If you are a little short on fast attack firepower. Or the Grand Arena.
Vex: If you want to push from the backline.
Cain: To increase dodge for Qing Mao.
Khorus: When Sebastian can’t provide stun protection.
Oliver: For insurance when you need more control.
Albus: Slightly incompatible with the team, but works well with Iris for sniping.
Biscuit: Slightly incompatible with the team, but necessary if you need a healer counter.

Energy Presenter Warning

This team often targets Heidi.
With Cain and Khorus attacking in quick physical bursts, it’s easy to become an Energy Presenter in fights against evasive Heroes like Heidi.
Choosing the easier path can increase the likelihood of losing, depending on your decision.
