Event Overview

Winterfest 2025 in Hero Wars offers fewer headline changes, but plenty of opportunities for resource collection.
This guide breaks down the event’s duration, lock rules, Gingerbread currency, shop value, and how actively you should engage.

This year’s Winterfest runs for 11 days starting on December 21.
Server and guild locks will be in effect during the event.
No new heroes or pets will be added. Instead, two new hero skins and two new titan skins are being introduced.
In addition to bubbles, a new premium currency called Gingerbread will be available for gift exchanges.
The event shop features the largest item lineup ever, though many players criticize it for poor cost performance.
Popular generators from the Summer Festival will appear on Mysterious Island.
If Gold generation produces bubbles, everyone should use Gold.
Note: unlocks on this island are staggered.
There are minor changes to quest requirements.
As with other end-of-month events, some quests consume Explorer Moves.
These are not limited to Winterfest Island, so if there’s something you want, this event period is a good opportunity to obtain it.
Mini-events and hidden quests remain unchanged from last year.
Winter skins are only obtainable during this event period.
New players should aim to collect them as long as their guild is competitive enough.
Limited-time avatars from past Winterfest events are also available.
They do not affect gameplay, but collectors should not forget to claim them.
Overall, Winterfest 2025 is not a high-priority event, but it offers a wide range of resources.
Approach it as a resource-gathering event within your personal budget and playstyle.

Official Message: Winterfest Is On!

Winterfest has begun, Guardians! The biggest celebration of the season is finally here: the Tree is shining, the gifts are wrapped, and Dominion is ready for holiday magic!

Open the Winterfest Hub to see your guild’s upgradeable Tree and dive into everything the celebration brings: sending and receiving gifts, exploring the refreshed Winterfest Shop, and progressing through the themed Battle Passes. And while you’re there, don’t miss the brand-new Winter Skins for Lyria and Folio — they’re already waiting in the shop.
And of course, the Letter to Winter Claus has returned. Choose three rewards, and on January 1 one of them will find its way to you.
Over on the Mysterious Island, two first Winter Lanterns are already active. Upgrade it and keep an eye out — more Generators will unlock as the festival unfolds.
And remember, your activity during the celebration counts toward three Winterfest Rankings: the Generosity Ranking for sending presents, the Popularity Ranking for receiving them, and the Decorating the Tree Ranking for helping your guild brighten the Winterfest Tree. Placing in these rankings can earn you additional rewards, so every bit of holiday spirit goes a long way.
