Hey everyone! We continue to steer towards an early announcement of upcoming events and we are eager to share news about the upcoming December events!

There will be a lot happening in December: Special Advent Calendar, Winterfest, Dark and Light Titans events, Legacy of The Great Ones, Nature Season, Time of the Fearless, Emerald Coins Hero Event, New Seasonal Adventure Map, Patterns & Flags Update, the Guardians of Outland, Portal Anomaly, Foundations of Power, New Heroes and Titans Skins and even more new things to come, which we will tell you about later!

New Heroes and Titans Skins

We are uncertain whether the term “new heroes” pertains to the year-end heroes scheduled for the Winter Festival or if there will be an additional release similar to what Kayla did last year. The possibility of Titan skins suggests the potential for a Titan Brawl, but conflicting statements have arisen, leaving uncertainty about the nature of the impending release.

Winter Island introduces a fresh battle flag into the mix!
Acquiring these flags won’t be direct; instead, they come from the Battle flag Chest!

UI Updates

Updates have been implemented on the battle and hero screens.
Concerning the battle screen, it seems these changes cater to smartphone play.
Although this is the PC version of Hero Wars, the buttons appear somewhat spaced out for mouse control. Players utilizing keyboard shortcuts (Hot Keys) should face no issues, but those relying on the mouse may find controlling the game a bit challenging.

VIP10+ Shop Discontinued and Special Sale Reworked

The VIP10+ Shop, a one-time purchase bundle featuring 100 different packages exclusively available to VIP10+ players, has quietly closed!
Going forward, it seems the daily displayed bundles will be irrespective of VIP status. However, the selection of displayed bundles appears to be influenced by VIP level.
Additionally, the right to repurchase previously acquired bundles seems to have been reinstated!
Furthermore, Titans and new Mushy and Shroom bundles have been introduced.
Many bundle contents have not undergone review at this time, and a significant number are now approximately x2 equivalent!

Galahad and Aurora Updates

Ascension skills have been introduced for each.
Galahad will also come with an additional update.
Hero evaluations are set to reset. If you haven’t participated in the Hero Evaluation yet, evaluating in advance may enable you to receive Emeralds twice!

Thunder skins are now available for the mobile version

Each has been implemented as the 6th skin!
The maximum number of skins was previously 5, but now the limit has been exceeded!

Discord Pruning on December 13th

The announcement regarding the deletion of dormant accounts on Discord is now live!
Keep in mind, this is a Discord-related update, not a Hero Wars account-related one!
As a result, players who are logged into Hero Wars but not into Discord will be primarily affected.

Official Message

Hi! We have a server-related update: next week on December 13th we plan to “prune” the server. That means that on December 13th all the players who haven’t logged in to Discord (not specifically visited our Server, just haven’t logged in in general) for 30 days will be kicked out from the server.
If you are reading this message – you won’t be affected, you are pretty active on Discord and the platform should know that! But if you have friends/guildmates who haven’t logged in for a while, and who might be interested in keeping all their Mee6 Levels, Roles and all that server goodness on Hero Wars: Dominion Era server – please, share the news with them. If they will log in to Discord until December 13th, their “progress” on our server should stay intact.
“Pruning” is a procedure that is recommended by Discord team, it helps Discord provide more accurate data on our server statistics and just smooth out the server experience in general. We might face some technical issues with pruning (we’ve had those in the past already), but we wanted to give players a heads-up regarding our plans to make sure you are informed.

Mystery Island Ended, Subscription Missing

Q. So… Where are my two keys that I PAID for? (I should have 40+ days remaining on the subscription)
Another bugged thing Nexters have done.
In 2023, there have been more bugs than all the other years combined. Plus one of the most cash hungry years of all time.
Perhaps it should be time for Nexters to get people to actually TEST things before release, and not be so negligent or these easily preventable bugs will keep happening.
A. Hey! Don’t worry, your subscription didn’t get cancelled or anything like that and you won’t lose any Moves. The subscription is mechanically tied to the Island, and that’s why it’s “inactive” while there is no Island present.

You won’t lose your Moves for today – tomorrow you will be able to get your Moves for both days and use them on the new Winter Island!

Sorry for the counterintuitive UI for that transitional period, we should fix this issue before the consequent maps/Islands.

And thank you for your feedback on our UI in various places – you will see a couple of changes in the interface today and tomorrow, that were made based on your comments and suggestions

Q. I have some question about the new accuracy pattern. How does it work? The decrease of dodge is decreasing the “dodge value”(stat) , or decreasing “the calculation result of dodge” ? It matters a lot. Please explain it if you can

Ensuring Fairness in Legacy of the Great ones

Q1. Can you please confirm that the automatic coin conversion into ABSOLUTE chests is a BETTER coin per absolute artefact value than buying the absolute artefacts directly? This really looks like a misunderstanding from Community Manager. But some players will rely on this and will rightfully be angry if it turns out not to be true.
A1. That’s a fantastic question, and a timely one at that. Thank you for highlighting that, it wasn’t our intention to “punish” players for purchasing the artifacts during the event. So we are updating the exchange rate to 400 Emerald Coins for 1 Chest.

In the future event launches the exchange rate won’t be this good (it will likelt be around 600). But this time around we’ve misinformed you first and make some players believe that not spending the Emerald Coins is the best course of action during the event. We don’t want to punish them for trusting our official news, so during the current event we will stick to 400 Emerald Points for 5 Absolute Artifact Materials no matter when you get them – during or right after the event.

Q2. They lost ability to choose the type on demand.
A2. Ahh, in that regard – yeah, this aspect is still in play, that’s something we can’t address right now

No Advance Notice for Light and Dark Artifacts

Q. Nexters’ commitment to poor communication continues tirelessly!
The “Light and Dark Artifacts” event begins without warning. And we still don’t know whether there will be other Events this week or not. By the way, “Dark and Light Titan Events” were previously announced: Events in the plural for me means the “Shining Ascension” and “The Color of the Night” events, not the one about the artifacts.
Is it possible that every time the developers are focusing on a new feature (in this case War Flags and Patterns) they forget the standard communications?

Message to developers: Players are more interested in you handling the ordinary well (fixing bugs, announcing events) rather than new features.

Introduced Light and Dark Seals to Cosmic Artifact Chests

Q. Dear Nexters,
Please add light & dark seals to the “Cosmic Artifact Chest“.
You run an event called “Light and Dark Artifacts” for titans yet do not give players any light or dark seals. Please make a fair way for players to get the light / dark seals by including them in the “cosmic artifact chest”.

The “Ancient Titan Artifact Chests” that can be obtained from the “Elemental Synergy” event contains seals for the Water / Earth / Fire titans.
“Cosmic Artifact Chest” for light and dark titans should also contain seals.

Q. Probably been said 100x but please add an open 1 button for summoning spheres, artifact spheres etc. You keep making season pass quests to open 1-3 and forcing us to open 10. It’s cringe to funk over your players who are smart enough to plan ahead in a game that is literally about resource management,

Higher Pricing in Facebook Version

Q. what is the explanation for having different prices in the same currency????
A. Hello! On what platform do you play? Because prices might vary between the platforms.

Tip: The Facebook version has been updated to utilize the exchange rate determined by Facebook. Consequently, this implies that certain currencies may be more expensive than in the web version. I think this is a matter of when to update the exchange rate, so I don’t think it will happen that one is always higher than the other in the long run.
