There will be a lot happening in January: Pet Season, Legacy of The Great Ones, Time of the Fearless, Guardians of Outland, Emerald Coins Hero Event, The Great Storm, Portal Anomaly, Foundations of Power, Classic Titans event, Ascension to Asgard, The Elemental Synergy, new part of Mysterious Island map, and even more new things to come, which we will tell you about later!

Astaroth mobile design reworked

The design of Astaroth on mobile has recently been reworked.
The changes are purely cosmetic, and the game performance remains the same as before.
As one of the most popular tanks chosen by many players, there’s likely to be a lot of interest!

What will happen in 2024 in Hero Wars?

Based on what officials have shared so far, here are a few things to expect

QoL Updates

Users have repeatedly asked for a variety of updates, and it has been stated that the QoL update is scheduled for 2024.
The most recent updates were to the hero roster and the battle screen.

Seasonal Events and New Skins

As usual, several skins will be released.
Lunar skins for Chinese New Year in January-February.
Romantic skins for Valentine’s Day in February.
Masquerade skins for April Fool’s Day in April.
In 2023, a sixth skin will be unlocked for Galahad and Aurora, hinting at the potential addition of many more heroes!

Seasonal Events

Masquerade Skins for 2024

Ships are currently running.
Heroes will be Iris, Aidan, and Kayla.
The goal event will be “Time for Pranks” as in previous years.

About the New Heroes for 2024

Every year, mainly in winter and spring, heroes that were previously implemented in the mobile version will appear in the web version.
There are currently 4 Heroes that are candidates for this event.

Past results

2021: Albanor, Tristan
2022: Amira, Fafnir
2023: Mushy and Shroom, Julius

Xe’sha

A support and attacker that increases firepower with the condition of Health consumption.
Not implemented in the web version for an extended period of time, possibly due to a combination with The Great Storm scenario.
Xe’sha even have Beach skin, and it’s time to come…

Cascade

A hybrid hero with both Physical and Magical attacks.
Equal Magic penetration and Armor penetration, with buffs applied to both. The attack is automatically selected based on the opponent’s lower magic defense or armor. Successful penetration results in Pure damage.

Octavia

A dodge-enhanced hero who specializes in assisting dodge-centric heroes.
Connected to Keira‘s storyline, but excels as a power boost for Dante.

Oya

A Julius counter that specializes in nullifying all barrier skills.
Works well with Yasmine.

Uncertainty About 2024 Additions

New Bosses Added to Guild Raids ?

The Battle of Osh is currently undergoing a major change with the introduction of the Red Artifacts.
Many people are trying to raise Cornelius and learn the player skills of manual manipulation.
However, it has been more than two years since Osh appeared. Expectations for new bosses are high!

New game modes ?

It has been stated that in 2023, the development of events will take precedence over new game modes. In fact, new events have appeared and existing ones have been reworked.
We are curious to see if event development will continue in 2024 or if a new game mode will be introduced.
If the usual is the case, we can expect some sort of major update (not necessarily a new game mode) in the fall or winter, after new heroes, skins, and pets have been introduced.
